Good information. Would you suggest ignis or new Swift ? 95% of the time is city office driving in Bangalore. I need lightest steering (like Nano twist). low cost of ownership. Will sell after 5 years. Daily running is 30km office drive.

Although for lighest steering - its Hyundai Grand i10 and may consider in Even better would be convenience with Nissan Micra CVT - not only steering is light but even comes with CVT Automatic at a price at which Swift Vxi Manual is available.

If maximum ride is in City - Ignis Alpha offers better convenience and styling features, touchscreen with android auto and apple car play, good mileage and reasonably good performance. One thing is important - Ignis suspension is slight on stiffer side in city. So - important is to have test drive as some may not like this suspension. For freestyle - it feels as bigger car as against Ignus which has better build, suspension, ground clearance and steering feedback on slight higher speed

As you said rear legroom is small,it's totally wrong.there is ample space in the rear actually you can sleep with recline legs,I told this only because of my real experience. And swift pricing is nearly 60k more than Ignis also with less features.so choice is yours.

Using it from last 1.5 months. Drove in ghat sections and on highway and also very much into Pune traffic prone areas. Everywhere it performed very well. Above 110 kmph stability is lesser (compared to fiat, toyota cars). Milleage is higher and engine is super silent. Windows up-down is noisy and seats are not confirtable for a tall person. Overall its value for money. I drove it for 275 kms in a stretch with 3 ghat sections in the drive but not even a single second I felt it underpowered.

Rear legroom is not that bad compared to other cars of it's size. Speaking of which, another con is that the tires provided(Bridgestone Ecopia) are very bad for ride quality and road noise.
