Well Sir Junaid, I have experienced one thing, The more I interact with opposite genders, the more I get confidence. The thing I learned from them is that they want us to treat them like a human and don't see them with the cultural values. That's my learning. InshaALLAH, I will be in the University this year and will learn a lot from them.

Been abroad and faced the same situation. I would say don't go for same route as all other Pakistanis are going e.g. to be delivery driver, shopkeeper or security guard (these are all respectful professions with its own growth trajectory if you are ambitious). You are talented and I would suggest you to opt for freelance cybersecurity roles which are easily available online like Penetration Tester, Threats Researcher etc. These roles pay well and you will get proper job in the end. Good luck!

Junaid bhai I just wanted to share my view and serve it as food for thought, about what you said regarding leaving wealth for your child. I believe that one of the worst things to leave behind for your children is a lot of wealth or a fancy legacy. The parent's fame or golden spoon more often than not chains their feet as it leaves no room for them to explore their own potential or learn how to fly with their own wings. Wealth building is mandatory, of course, but I think we must stop and ask ourselves, how much is enough, and how much would be too much. We all have a different standard but we need to understand our limits before money takes over us and floods every aspect of our life. The L'Oréal documentary on Netflix is quite an eye-opening example.

1st question: What is this constant flex flex thing? People who actually grow mentally do not care what relatives think about them, they do nothing to show off and focus on working hard and improving themselves as a human too not just financially. Even if you do reach 100k$ that ll not bring you happiness if you really spend time thinking about what relatives think about your financial status etc.

I disagree with you Junaid about comparing the racism in Arabic countries to what sucky corporations are doing. Yes, Apple's supplier pays shit to people in China but they aren't selectively paying more or less to people who are working there. These products are outsourced to cheaper markets because they are cheaper markets. Same goes for tech freelance/contract industry in Pakistan where North American, European, Middle Eastern businesses outsource their software development to us and companies establish in Pakistan pay a few cents on the dollar to those employees. What Arabian and Middle Eastern countries do to South/South East Asian is horrible. They are racist supremacists and deem races other than them as below them.
@hiimib8 ай бұрын
and yet you want their money. Nice hypocrisy.
@Bdawg.8 ай бұрын
@@hiimib I’ve never wanted nor will I ever want Arabs’ money. It’s kinda funny how you framed your sentence tho as if you knew me from years and knew for a fact that I am somehow getting money from Arabs. 🤣
@halahnasir26928 ай бұрын
When I compare that to how pakistanis treat each other in Pakistan, its nothing! And in Middle East it depends on your job. Don’t accept a job when you know you will be treated like shit. But its not everywhere as I have lived in ME for 20 plus years.
@Bdawg.8 ай бұрын
@@halahnasir2692 Not really, no. First of all, those jobs exclusively hire South/South East Asians and black people. Imagine the outcry if only Muslims worked in low level menial, often dirty jobs in the West. It’s not just limited to menial jobs, though. You’re paid and treated differently based on your skin color and/or the passport you carry. Sometime it’s very blatantly obvious, other times it is subtle and muted yet it is there. Social hierarchy is very central to how Arab and Middle Eastern countries operate. PS: the comparison between Pakistan and those countries doesn’t make any sense. The comparison in question was between Arab/Middle Eastern countries and the West.
@halahnasir26928 ай бұрын
@@Bdawg. then you should blame the governments not those countries. It’s our governments who won’t do anything for their workers rights. When your own country doesn’t respect you as it’s citizen the rest of the world will not.

To the international student facing depression.. You have to face this. There no escape. Making a life in a new country is not easy. You willl need to suffer. If you sufffer today, you willl relax tomorrow. Stay away from Muslims. In my experience, Muslims only decieve you. Keep yourself busy. Work 2 jobs if you have to.
