I can't nail down my top 5, but I do have a #1 favorite: Emerson, Lake, & Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery. It's also at the top of my all time favorite records of any genre.

Thank you for sharing! I have to give it a listen again since I no longer remember anything of it.

I agree, music is pure dopamine for the heart and the soul. I used standard and Drop D tuning...never tried Tune B but i guess it sounds great for 7 & 8 string guitars. Great video again...GDay. 🤍👍

Another very interesting installment. I will check out those Marillion and Jethro Tull records.

I could do well with the 5 albums you named. I would however have to add a mix tape with the songs "Sunrise" and "Rain" by Uriah Heep and "No Mean City" parts 1 & 2 and "Claim To Fame" by Nazareth. Moving Pictures was the 1st Rush album I bought with my own money. I could hardly wait for it to be released. I also like Test for Echo very much as well. 👍

Wow! I'd have a hard time to choose my favorite JT album, but "Songs from the Wood" is surely among my favorites! I am quite surprised to see your top-5 list, because you must be way younger than i am and we do share favorites!

I am glad to know that we share favourites :) I've been exposed to this music mostly thanks to my Mum. And now I am not very young either...

@@AlexandraZernerRocks Your mum seem to have a great music taste! Well, the first time i've seen JT play live was at a "Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die!" - show in Hamburg. That was 4 years before i saw Led Zeppelin in Bremen (JT were way better btw.) That should tell you something about my age. By your looks I guess you are at least 20 years younger than me. ;-)

The Yes album was one of my fav. also, playing it on the way to work back in the day. My first album that made me feel something was when i was about 10, was Master of Reality Black Sabbath. I also started to scare my parents with this heavy metal they never heard before.

I am glad that you like this album too. However, I never really got into Black Sabbath...
