Yeah Denis was using playback for I won't Give In, but it's for effect. He still sang and screamed with the playback. There's a discrete difference between lip syncing and what Denis was doing.

I would agree, it's funny to see everyone begging Danny to return, then new music with Danny dropped and it sucked ass and everyone took it back. From Danny's return the first year of touring was totally cool. Then Into the Fire was released it sounded tight, like a continuation from From Death to Destiny, and then... Eh... The rest of the album wasn't nearly as good as their early stuff, couple good songs but everything they released after that really sucked, not just because they switched genres, but rather that it just sounds generic and there are bands and artists who made similar stuff and did it better. It's like a burger joint suddenly starts making pizza, but isn't nearly as good as anything pizza joints make. Yeah, there are times it succeeds, but this wasn't the case. They don't have to keep playing metalcore, but I don't have to keep supporting them if I just don't enjoy their new music, especially since they won't even play old stuff on the shows.

The fact that people are still comparing Denis to Danny is terrible. He's said since the beginning that he doesn't want to be compared to him as they are two different people. Denis is still getting use to being the new frontman to AA, and honestly, a lot of fans have been assholes to him. There is no beef between Danny and Denis. Get over that Danny left due to his own accord. He chose rock n roll, he was bringing the band down, he lost passion in metalcore. Whether you like it or not, whether you keep trying to start a beef between the two singers, the fact remains that AA will carry on as a band in the new era of AA with Denis, and they're a hell of a lot happier without Worsnop. Squash this comparison bullshit. The band is Denis, Ben, Cameron, Sam, and James.

I think you guys are being too critical, Denis is doing pretty good. I mean, I hate the lip syncing too, but did you get pass I Won´t Give In? That is the only song he is lip syncing (as far as I can tell). I can only say he was weak with the clear vocals in A Prophecy, but it´s almost the last song and you can see he is giving it all, jumping, shaking and everything. He nailed Run Free, though.

You guys do realise you are comparing Dennis to Danny when he was in the band for a lot longer than Dennis was? You seem to forget that Danny was shit live when he was as young and new as Dennis is. Yes, maybe he had good screams but every vocalist is better at different things. Dennis is still trying to improve his voice to keep it to the standard that Danny was before he left, which is something you lowlives can't understand. He cares about Asking Alexandria more than Danny ever did, he was a fan before he even joined and used to cover their songs. I bet in a couple years Dennis will be better than Danny ever was. Kids got a lot to learn.. High screams all the time just sound bad. Get some mids and save the highs. The less you use them, the more special they are and amazing they sound. His lows are improving though! More lows are what this band needs live and in the studio. Hopefully his voice will toughen up like Danny's did. AA's tour schedule will toughen anyone's chords up and make them sound deeper and less childlike.
