Danny with that haircut, leather jacket and sunglasses looks almost exactly like he used to look in the begining of 2011.

He has to take a fantastic care of his voice currently. He has never been hitting those high notes this smoothly. He also killed the screams in the bridge..just wow 😲

It scares me to think what he would be capable of if he actually liked to make insanely heavy music.

I think it was "I am - you're gone" because it was two versions of him in the music video and he transitioned from the evil person to the good one and said "you're gone" instead

The online lyrics say he is saying ‘Masochist’ but I swear he is saying ‘Narcissistic dilettante’ during the bridge. Am I crazy or are the online lyrics wrong?

After I watching this whole performance from Rockville, there’s a few things that I think factor in to why Danny’s voice hasn’t been all that great live on this tour. First, I remember on a twitch stream I ask Danny how much caffeine he consumes on a regular basis and he said upwards to a thousand milligrams. That’s uhh… awful. Caffeine dries out the vocal folds and prevents them from resonating as easily because of how dehydrated they are if he’s not rehydrating with water. And second, I feel like he’s been singing with rasp for so long that the very bottom of the vocal fold which is shaped like a V, the very bottom part is where your higher vocal pitch/frequency and falsetto voice lays. I feel like that the raspiness he’s always sang with starting after the reckless and relentless tour to now currently, has maybe damaged the bottom part of the vocal fold to where if he tries to do a pure clean vocal in the higher part of his range, his voice is just going to crack so he has to kind of “push” it through and that leads to a subtle vocal fry undertone (rasp) in his singing voice. Now, I’m not a vocal teacher, I’m not an Ear, Nose, throat doctor, I’m not any of those things, but as someone who does vocals for my band and have been singing in choirs since I was 8 and who has gone and is actually currently going through this same vocal issue, these are just my own observations. I don’t know how much Danny practices good vocal hygiene, I don’t even think he does traditional vocal warm up exercises from what I remember him talking about in the past, but his voice sounds like it’s just not holding up which is sad because he had a year and a half off from the road and that should’ve been time he could’ve taken care of whatever existing vocal issues he had before that.
@caranthir78742 жыл бұрын
it’s not any kind of technique. its his natural raspiness and he always sings like that since his vocal injury in 2012-2013
@caranthir78742 жыл бұрын
its not like he’s doing it on purpose. its just the sign that his voice is damaged and im not ever sure he’ll be able to sing in 10 years

Just want to jump in here and say that Danny himself said in a stream, that he only knows how do lows/gutturals healthy, and have no idea how to do the other screams correct
