To hear "you made it this far" gave me instant tears. I'm grieving from my step dad's passing from last year and not only that my life had a dark secret. Him and my mother were dealing with drug use to feel normal instead of dealing with withdrawals. I just always thought they were tired, but now my mom's clean and we're doing our best to stay sane and keep moving forward. Thank you AA, you've helped me since I was 13 and after a year of learning the truth and mourning my loss I needed to hear these words💚

I dont want to hear a single person EVER dog on this band and the direction they've chose to take. This song is perfect and beautiful in every damn way, much like PLENTY of their other songs as well. They've changed, yes. But honestly in my opinion the change has been for the better, them actually adding their emotions into the lyrics. Their old stuff was fun and great.. But we all need music like this to get us through. Thank you AA for saving so many of us with this song alone. ❤ Lets just appreciate this band as a whole. Not compare them to themselves.

i love the lyrics so much "You've Made It This Far" Smile They always tell you to smile To appreciate the things you have But it doesn't change what's on your mind So you smile But it's only on the outside So they can't see the pain that's overwhelming And eating you alive When it feels like you might have had enough Shut out the world and remind yourself If you could hold on just for a little while You might just find it's not too much for you to make it through It's crazy how far you've come, all you've done The life that you came from Take a step back and look at who you are You've made it this far Breathe Close your eyes and breathe I know it feels like it's consuming And you're tired of this feeling And you try You try so damn hard Sometimes it feels like falling And you're just waiting for the ground When you lose faith in what you've been dreaming of Stay in that moment and tell yourself If you could hold on just for a little while You might just find it's not too much for you to make it through It's crazy how far you've come, all you've done The life that you came from Take a step back and look at who you are You've made it this far You're not the only one Who feels like they're alone Against all the odds You've made it this far You're not the only one Who feels like they're alone Against all the odds And after all You've made it this far If you could hold on just for a little while You might just find it's not too much for you to make it through It's crazy how far you've come, all you've done The life that you came from Take a step back and look at who you are You've made it this far

Been a fan since I was 15. I used to live and breathe AA I got to meet y'all once and Danny had some funky ass gold ink pen that just exploded on my VIP pass, Ben said something and Danny said "well it's not a competition" I was so damn nervous all I could say is "it kinda is" you meet you're idol and this is what I did. I guess I'm telling this story cause I've thought about ending it recently. Stopping the drinking and my body vibrating from the anxiety and puking and shaking and not being able to see straight. I heard this and just thought of that happy memory. Thank you AA.

You got it man. You're not alone in the world. And I hope you found your light again. Never give up. Even what you might think is a tiny step can actually be a big one. "Against all the is you've made it this far" hold on just for a little more man, everything will be okey. And then you'll look back and thank yourself that you didn't give up and instead took that extra step, because life IS beautiful. I hope you've found it's beauty again.

For some reason since i first listened to AA this band always releases albums when i need to hear them the most And in every album there is a song or songs that sing about topics im struggling with You helped me through a lot this last 10 years And you help me now when im in a relationship with a really special person i really love deeply and she thinks her life is worthless and attemped suicide a couple of times along his life because she had to deal with a lot of pain since she was a child till today I dedicated this song to her hoping that she doesn't give up, she made it this far even with all her suffering, i believe she is really strong She even cares more about relieving everyone's pain before hers, she is really emphatic and comprensive and still loves intenselly after all the pain she suffered from people And i hope someday she loves herself the same way i love her with or without me, im just grateful she allowed me to be part of her life and loved me deeply And im really gratefull to all of you You have been and always will be the band that gave me a hand when i fall down Maybe you didnt even intended to be this important to people's hearts And i bet im not the only one thankful for all that you give us And i hope everyone who is going through a dark moment in their life, just hold on a little longer, your life isn't worthless, don't ever doubt that Much love from Argentina, sorry for my English
