​​@@AbhayThakur-vl1vfwell considering the level of atrocities we did with them and the least developed region is also north east and there's nothing in there so I think they should be more happy with china or Japan but since they fought both of them and actually defeated them. I don't find any problem here but their decision was not wise at all. Connection with mainland is also very narrow and on top of that these states top the chart on corruption. Their ministers and even small govt employees are getting rich. Central govt has invested a lot but the result has been same for decades now.. I think the seperate entity should be more reliable option in their case. Like armies and foreign policies should be in mainland India's hand and about other parts should be in their hands. I personally belive that they should have their own national identity
