Both of them are so cute. On the downside, these questions are totally stupid, and rude. Glad that the lady was so smart to answer the questions, and the guy was respectful. Edit: I now get the point of this video. Thanks for pointing out my mistakes.

It's funny to me to see Jiwan say that the question "can't you really see things?" is sooo rude when he basically say that when he met her the first time and thought that she was joking. I guess it depends on the way people ask it. Like she explained, she understands why people ask that. And it's not always because they doubt her.

I was just watching a c-drama recently and these two have way more chemistry than the MLs I’ve been following for 31 episodes. There’s something electrifying about the vibe they have going on here. It’s crazy. If they don’t show up on camera together again, I hope they are at least able to maintain contact between themselves- because I can see that they have something special going on. I wish them the best in their journeys in life. It’s sweet to witness pure warm connections like these even in the third-person perspective. It gives us, or me in particular, hope that not everyone is untrustworthy and some may naturally connect with us in such ways. Thank you for sharing these videos of their interactions. They were lovely to watch.

This was a really interesting and informative video and I learned a lot from it. It’s great that you brought up this kind of topic to discuss because it’s not something I hear about often so I was happy to learn about it 😊. Thank you to both of them for sharing their insight on this topic and for making this video 👍🏼😃

My grandmother was “legally” blind due to complications from diabetes in her 50’s. She could see some peripheral but not straight in front. She had to be really close to see anything. You wouldn’t know she was seeing impaired if she was in a familiar environment.

Myopia runs in my family and my grandpa is "legally" blind due to terrible vision and my dad is borderline. Blindness isn't solely about seeing a black ocean 24/7 as this a stereotype, it can also be due to very bad myopia/hypermetropia. Without their glasses, my grandpa and my dad see big shapes and a basic color block unless they have barely a few millimeters between their eyes and the object they are looking at.

This remind me of this one japan drama that highlight about blind people. Different types of blindness, how they read, how they enter run competition, how they work and many more. I really learn a lot from that drama. So, seeing this makes me remember that drama which gives me the inside about this matters. The drama name is "Koi Desu:Yankee kun to hakujou naru" or in english It's Love: Yankee and White Cane girl

I learned a lot from this video but mostly I'm unlearning a lot as well specifically regarding the misconceptions on blindness. Nobody really teaches these things formally in school etc so I feel bad about being ignorant on this topic for so long & I'm hoping that more videos like this would reach out to more people!

Love how she's found a way to just be herself and being blind is just one of her many wonderful characteristics. About people doubting, there are always people like that. It's such a bizarre thing. When one of my cousins found out I had cancer he and his gf apparently told others cousins that it wasn't true.

As a person who doesn't see well at all but still carries on what people term as a normal life, l get mainly disbelief. If l say l shouldn't attend an affair because l can't navigate to get there, they become almost disgruntled with me.

I love their energy with each other and the guy is just a huge walking green flag. As a disabled person, seeing how increasingly angry/embarrassed he got by the rudeness of the questions that we face every day as disabled people felt really reassuring. It’s always nice to be reminded there are people that don’t think so negatively of disabled people

"Blind can't put on makeup is a prejudice i think" 2:17 agree. Is it because if the makeup is bad they won't see it and go out with a bad look, is that the fear? First of makeup is about hand skill in my opinion having no eyesight doesn't affect your hand muscles. But most importantly, Just because you SEE your makeup is bad doesn't help if you don't have the skill to fix it. On the other hand a totally blind or partially blind person can be very skilled in putting on makeup without looking so they may even do a better job than a human with perfect eyesight. Being blind doesn't equal doing a bad job at drawing or painting. You don't lose skills. An example is the woman in the video... She's a great artist.

It could be a translation error. A lot of time wordings sound awkward in the subtitles of these vids so I wouldn't totally assume he was being rude. It might not have a bad connotation for the word he used in korean

You don’t call people “blinds”. That is ridiculous. You can call them visually impaired or blind persons, not blinds.
@gyaruoprince

it's a translation mistake. in korean, words are used literally, so blind people are "blinds" and disabled people are "disabilities", if you were to translate them literally

I think the blindness disease is RP? My gf also had the same... it get worse after it get started. And it takes years to get to the point where you can only see things blurry...also during night you can see nothing at all even with low lights... It is also first time i know that "blindness" is not only includes "total blindness". People who have very bad sight which make they almost cant take care of themselves are considered as blind already. As my gf described, her eyes are like always covered with a layer of mist...and it is not recoverable through surgery or whatever. Hope ppl who watched this video can be more patience and treat them better as they will do things slower than commons due to their blurry sight. Also, they cant see the road they are walking to clearly. So they always accidently kicked stuffs or fall from it...especially if floor are wet or there are stairs.

I think the algorithm took me here because i watched the movie Ballad from Tibet which is about 3 blind kids and one with low eyesight which is their guide and their journey from their natal village in tibet to shenzhen to sing at a music contest and afaik i understood it is based on real story. I myself am impaired but i am hearing impaired and my eyesight is poor. However i did get those questions like "can u hear something?" And i am like "not much without hearing aid". Or " how do you take baths??? Cuz i will slip easily (and it has happened to me) at my home too coz it doesnt have accomodations and people are so kinda judgey when you tell them you use a bathtub like it was in olden days but from plastic. Like you are doomsdayer or smth like that 🥲. Honestly i am scared of 2 things most, earthquakes at night and icy roads. And that is valable for visual impaired people as well. Since a lot of jobs rely more on communication, there is always fear that if i were to change jobs nobody would hire me because I am hearing impaired 🥲. Oh and my textbooks were pure holed cheese. I didnt understood why i wasnt given the material and had to try to transcribe the lecture like my classmates. If not for them borrowing me, i would not have graduated... well my parents wish was that i have a highly specialized job (biochemist) and i guess me being unhappy and subject to mental and physical and sexual abuse at work was less worth in the scale than me having a job in demand... i wish they would talk about the latter bc we the impaired person suffer more than just rude questions... When i was younger I watched Page turner korean drama and i found the mom-daughter situation too relatable cos thats how it was even if the female character was visual impaired. I recommend watching it. It is a 3 episode drama but more life than in 16.
