I graduated business school 7 years ago. I find it fascinating how the education is more focused on entrepreneurship. The education 7 years ago felt more like go get a job during your program because you're going to be a middle manager at best. It's interesting to see how the mindset has shifted and changed from when I was in school.
@GreyRaptor1
@GreyRaptor1 Жыл бұрын
Internet age brought a lot of despair but also a lot of hope on the spotlight. Being middle manager is simply not good enough to many younger eyes. They spent their lives looking at a sea of social media people that "have it all". To not be at their level will be failure to many who will realize that after college, and that will probably fuel depression.
@Ah_Yote
@Ah_Yote Жыл бұрын
That’s because these days with over 300,000 people graduating every year with a business administration/management degree thinking they’re going to be running a business, likely because of social media and seeing so many of these “entrepreneur influencers” they think they can just get a degree and magically start operating a successful business, while it’s possible especially if they have daddy’s money, they can open their own business which could possibly eventually make 7 figures , but realistically the demand is low and the competition pool is insanely high, and those degrees don’t master any actual skill, and economics student is likely to be in a higher position within a company

I fancy the plan that made them millions and I now understand that more passion to trading and less ego gives a resounding attraction to financial stability and I have managed my time effectively, diversified my source of income under my CFA and it has been my best way to grow and sustain wealth
@chrisschules9943
@chrisschules9943 Жыл бұрын
I have been on the look out for a good CFA who would give a diversified approach on my assets to yield more income because I am about to retire. Any tip would go a long way, it is so hard to find one that truly grasps the entirety of the different sectors you need in your portfolio, rather than most, which choose to specialize in 1 or 2 industries, and that's a big deal for me because I am very open minded, plus I know if I can't have it all there's no point, if you understand what I mean?

@@lucasrusel7718 Everything about this comment is what I believe is wrong with current business practices. It is the job of company to earn a profit for their shareholders by providing quality products or services not to make worse business decisions for political points. ESG is a horrible standard that is being forced on businesses that in the long term will have a devastating impact on the economy. I strongly disagree with your recommendation to invest based on ESG and would appreciate it if you could explain to me why you think in any way that restrictions on what you can invest in based on feelings which disregard logic make for a stronger more sustainable portfolio.

7:10 I personally dont like online shopping, because if i see that something costs 50€ in the internet and i buy it somehow it feels less to me than if i would buy something in a store for 50€. So i tend to spend bigger amounts of money online, while when i am in a store i compare the prices more and spend my money more responsible. Here in Germany we still use a lot of cash and when i am paying cash it feels a bit like loosing something each time, while when paying digitally or with a card it lacks that feeling, because you dont really see the money leaving your possession.

Without her I would've never known what Quant finance was and how it can benefit businesses and investors alike. 2. A reminder that no dream is too big, you just need to execute on your dreams. 3. That I need to get off the internet and get back to work.. Lastly that we need a follow up of each and every one of these individuals ASAP!

Green Energy makes sense as they sell to companies who want a better image. Rather than debate on the science of global warming. Having it generate energy and making some easy money makes sense. I do believe in climate change but I recognise its hard to swap from oil which has pros. We're running out of oil either way but we got time if we consider Antarctica oil reserves protected by the treaty which is expiring. She's capitalising on the politics and doing good in the long run. Win win? Money talks.
