@@Visualizer831 GCSEs are done in year 11 and are less important. Good performance in the UCAT is required to get a place (similar to how a good SAT score is needed for US univerisites), and there is esentially a threshold score for these exams, where above a certain score, it doesnt matter anymore. Then you need to do well in your A-levels, IB or AP exams, or any other system you are taking.

This isn't Harvard, Yale or Princeton, yes some of that exists but not nearly as much as the US Model where rich legacy students have a huge advantage.

Are you applying for undergraduate medicine or graduate entry medicine? If your applying for undergraduate medicine you need three A levels. The A levels must be Chemistry, Biology (sometimes), and another. Some universities will accept Physics or mathematics instead of Biology. If you're entering as a graduate, you need to pass either the UCAT or the GAMSAT, depending on the university
