Dudes, NO ONE would choose to be Gay! However, "Pride", in all its iterations, shows eventual acceptance and gives Gays a chance to feel good, in public, about themselves and their lives. Since they have no choice but to exist outside the heteronormalcy which we are mostly used to, they might as well have a party and celebrate their differences! Yay Pride!

Finding out your gay isn't like flipping a switch. You just know because you're not like the str8 boys.
@kmarie70513 ай бұрын
Exactly, you're born gay just like you're born straight. Realising your gay is the same kind of process as realising your straight in terms of knowing who you are attracted to. You don't really think "I'm straight so therefore I'm attracted to the opposite sex" you kind of just are and it's the same for gays being attracted to the same sex. Gay men probably had crushes on guys from a young age, even if they didn't quite recognise what it was at the time and also found themselves checking out guys on the beach and stuff and not women. Sexual orientation is a pattern of desire or attraction to one or both sexes. It's not always about identity or behaviour because those can be context dependant and don't always fully align with a persons true orientation. Many people experiment or have a sexual experience with someone outside their sexual orientation, but it doesn't change their preferences. If you are sexually attracted to women then you're straight.. if you're are attracted to men then you're gay and if you're sexually attracted to both you're bisexual...it really is that simple.

Who is stopping them from going out and wearing drag, nails, hair other than in June? What legislation is occurring that is so bad for them? They live in California. Brandon didn't challenge that person and ask what is making them not be able to do what they want to do and party and have fun anytime. there's a really important factor about those people who are LGBTQ+ but don't support the "community" or want nothing to do with it. if they have zero respect for it - they obviously don't understand the sacrifices people have made in the past for them to be allowed to exist and simply be who they are. if people are gay for example and "dont want anything to do with the community" that's fine - but if you shit on them.. you're mocking all those who have advocated for their existence and to just be who they are in the past. lets not mince words. people have been the target of violence, hate and murder, simply for being who they are in public. that's happened over decades. if people who aren't straight can't respect that or at least acknowledge that those people went through those difficulties for years and years, some even resulting in death; they shouldn't comment on it at all.

Be free be love who you are str8 or LGBT

transgender pride has absolutely nothing to do with gay pride. They are different battles that are often pushed together. It used to be LBG, and we added T because they had nowhere to go. But the T have always, always had their own sense of identity and different battles to the LGB.
