The thing that gets me with the makeup question is guys say no makeup but don’t realize what no makeup really is. Guaranteed the girls they’re attracted to have makeup. Not to mention now a days there’s filler, microbladed brows, lash extensions, etc. Maybe no “makeup” but definitely not natural.

Third, maybe there are other variables to account for. Like do you dress more provacatively, hold yourself more confidently, give off subtle body language cues, and go to places where being hit on is more likely when you wear makeup? Makeup obviously works to get more attention, girls wouldn't do it if it didn't. But guys don't universally answer "no makeup" for no reason. Most of us prefer the natural, real you. And on that note, when girls with "flaws" don't wear makeup and can still be confident, it shows healthy self esteem - which is VERY attractive. Guys don't want narcissistic superficial worrywarts who feel the need to constantly preen. Girls complain that they're only valued for their looks, but it's often they themselves who place the most value on it. Last point, lots of guys are actually more nervous to hit on very attractive girls, and it's the 5's, 6's and 7's who they feel comfortable talking to and being themselves around. So elevating your appearance with makeup can actually have the opposite effect of getting real attention by making guys feel like you're sure to reject them.

When I was younger I said I would never stay with anyone that cheated on me. Then after 25 years of marriage, if I ever found out my spouse cheated, I know now that I’d work hard to figure out what went wrong and what needs to be done to rebuild that relationship because the love runs deep. I’ve been lucky that’s never happened but we’ve talked about the ‘what if...’ and realized that despite the hurt it would cause we would both not walk away from relationship as we thought we would have 25 years ago. It would take time to rebuild but it would be worth it. I have never cheated and would never want it to happen in this relationship. That’s why we work every day to make sure we show how much we love each other, look out for each other, respect each other, communicate our joys and fears, and still have dates nights 25 years in. So I think the guy in the pink shirt is right...it depends where you are in your relationship whether you walk away after someone cheats.
