What do you think about taking a gap year? I’m not asking about the admission process. I’m asking what it feels like to be one year older than most students. Does it feel weird? I know there are people who start college later than that. But I’m curious, considering most students start college at 18, what’s it like starting at 19?
@iyanutube19 күн бұрын
There’s honestly no difference. Unless you look much older than the rest of your peers, nobody will ever know unless you tell them. I have a friend who took a gap year and the only visible difference is that since he forgot the content to most of his AP classes, bc of the added time in between. But this is a very minuscule effect on the college level. If a gap year is what’s best for you, then go ahead!

what's the difference between the ACT and SAT
@iyanutube19 күн бұрын
SAT has two parts: Math and EBRW (evidence based reading & writing) ACT has four parts: Math, Reading, English, and Science I didn’t take the ACT (wish I did), but most people suggest taking practice tests of both ACT and SAT. Whichever you score higher on study more for that format of the test, since people usually do marginally better on one or the other.

@@iyanutube do you have to do both? or is it better to pick one?
@iyanutube19 күн бұрын
You don’t have to choose both, however a good tip is to try both and see which one is easier, and focus your studying on that one.
@dylanreader524017 күн бұрын
SAT has harder and more developed questions but you have more time per question and it’s not as long in general. ACT has easier questions but less time per section and more sections
