I find it is interesting that when they said foreign they meant white and then not liking anyone but someone Asian is a bit racist and please don’t tell me they don’t know much about Black people...they built an entire music industry mimicking Black culture and music. I am also not asking them to like Black women because its their loss but I think this goes to the root of ignoring the double standard.

Just seeing your comment and I agree. Like the guy that said white skin which again a preference is cool because we all have them but I am not shocked because culturally "white" skin is praised and idolized so I expected these responses for the most part lol. Many Korean beauty products have skin lightening agents in them and they generally make fun of those who have more of a yellow/tan undertone.

Now maybe it is because English is not the first language for most of them so they were not able to properly articulate themselves, but I personally find it ridiculous to hear "I am only attracted to...." and then list one specific race, or group of people.. whether that be white, Asian, black, hispanic or whatever. One guy said he is only attracted to Koreans... If I grouped up a variety of Asian women and ask you who you are attracted to; how exactly will you be able to tell who is from what background? To say you are attracted only to one race is beyond me unless you are basing your attraction off of preconceived notions about that race or group of people. I think people are meaning to say they prefer a specific group of people which is absolutely fine and that makes more sense.

But even they obvious dislike the color of their skin hence the majority of Korean skin care products incorporate whitening agents in them. So sold on the beauty narrative from Westerners of white as being better.

Theres a few insecure ppl in the comment section. Its honestly embarrassing as a blaq girl to read comments of other foreigners with this level of entitlement and insecurity. Firstly, as a blaq girl who has dated all types of men, I find it annoying that some foreigners in the comment section are this disillusioned when it comes to men in different countries. Korean men are mostly around Asian ppl which means their preferences will be Asian. Thats just natural. They will also make exceptions to ppl who come close to their preferences which will be lighter skinned ppl or ppl they are in close proximity too. Europeans historically have intentionally and strategically targeted Asia and has influenced some of their beauty standards. Europeans are the ones advertising and promoting European culture, goods and beauty standards in Asia while blaq countries are not. So this will result in Asians having more experiences and familiarity with Europeans because Europeans engage and promote themselves in Asia. Koreans are not ray-cist or colorist because they prefer ppl who come close to their own preferences. U wouldn't say blaq men are ray-cist because they prefer women with dark skin. Its natural to prefer features that look like yours and features that u grew up around. We shouldn't get upset or try to change ppl's preferences. Date who loves you for you. 2. There is a lot of assumptions with foreigners thinking Asians always think "whight" when they hear foreigner. Thats not always the case. Its mostly foreigners pushing that narrative without having any evidence. He asked about foreigners and the women they liked just so happened to be whight. Not just any whight women, but mainstream actresses that appeared in films pushed globally like Harry Potter and Kill Bill. One guy even mentioned a Russian woman who models in Korea. If blaq ppl want their beauty standards, (dark skin/curly hair/features), to be recognized by Koreans then you would have to advertise yourself globally through movies and media. The only representation Korean ppl would have of blaq ppl is through American media which is one of the biggest medias consumed globally. It is America media that intentionally does not promote dark skin blaq women GLOBALLY like they do whightness because they know ppl globally would start to like our features. It would create competition to the whightness they have been marketing over there for years. Even our own American pop stars, actresses ect tend to be lighter skinned or mixed because American market is colorist. So if we know that then how do we except Korean men to be familiar with dark skin women that are not pushed by American media. Korean men would literally have to search for it to be exposed to it. Its all about the algorithm. U will like what is around u and what is promoted to u. Let ppl like who they like because trust me when Korean men are expose to bw they have just as much chemistry with them.. I have dated so many Korean men b4. These few men on the street do not speak for all Korean men. Ladies, there will be some men who are just not attracted to foreign women or blaq ppl. If you interviewed blaq ppl on certain streets of nyc, not many of them would say they are attracted to Korean men. These few guys do not speak for all. That is all. Shout out to the many comments not pressed about these guys honesty.

There is always an excuse but based on the video there were valid points. It's not an entitlement it's a surprise at the lack of advancement that is not commensurate to the rest of the cultural development. Also Europeans did not only export their influence to Asian they exported their attitudes. You may not know or leave out the fact White service men used to tell Asian women that Black service men had tails, were dangerous, etc. Don't be a pick me.
