Hi everyone the reason why we made this interview was because in our previous video about "Would Korean guys date foreign girls"we've gotten a lot comments asking "what about black girls etc" so we wanted to get black girls in Korea their views on this topic. In no way were we trying to offend anyone because of race or their skin color. We do appreciate all the "likes" and comments everyone shares with us in this video.

Good job!👍 All the sistas interviewed are beautiful and honest about their experiences. I had a change of mind and heart (after I had a long thoughts and I had a chat with my uncle who lived in South Korea for 4 years). I never knew that fact. He told me to visit there and have my own experience, and not listen to others. One day, I would love to visit South Korea now, maybe Busan. But I would have to learn Hangul first.

Thanks a lot for this comment. I said something similar about African/Korean couple on KZbin. I feel a lot of them are just dating black people to be famous or start a KZbin channel because they all know people are excited to watch contents like that. I'm sorry if there's any Korean person seeing this but I do feel Blasian (I'm referring to the Korean) relationship is probably lacking real love (don't blame me but the level of racism and their thoughts on black people is what makes me think this way). All I can say is that each person has their own luck and destiny and what God has for you no one can take. As a black woman living in Korea for several years, it's an an absolute fact that the overwhelming majority of Korean men do not find women with dark skin attractive at all. However, there are black women that I personally know that managed to find a husband in Korea. It's about finding your own one person. At the end of the day, it's about finding that special someone. Even me, who is not beautiful by any standard have dated a decent Korean man while here for a short while. It didnt work out in the end but it was a nice memory

@@tikdoe7563 What it sounds like and what it actually is are two different things. I think most foreigners, especially women, that travel to S.Korea are there for dating purposes. If it's not their no.1 goal, it's still in their top 3 reasons. Even the delusional comments under this video prove that. Let's not play coy and pretend that the majority of foreigners who are interested in anything about S.Korea didn't come from their love of Kpop or Korean Dramas. The ones there for any other reason are in the minority. The majority saw hot idols or actors, got caught up in the hype, and wanted to travel there. On top of that, why even ask black women what it's like dating in S.Korea when we already know how Korean society views black people and dark skin, specifically? If dark skinned Korean women have a difficult time dating there...what would make black women look more appealing to Korean men? Don't get me wrong, not trying to put down black women, but ...go into with a realistic mindset. I mean...they're being interviewed by a Korean dude with a white girlfriend. That speaks volumes on the foreign dating pool in Korea already
@rymc34373 жыл бұрын
I think it’s depends. I have a friend who moved to Korea because she was passionate by Korean traditional music, which called *Pansori*. She discovered Pansori by her Korean neighbor. My friend don’t like kpop at all, and she is not really attracted by Korean men too ( she have only dated black men in her life). Women who move to Korea just for finding an husband are, most of the time, so brainwashed by k-dramas and are ONLY attracted by Korean men, in many case they also are koreaboo. That’s creepy and ridiculous. But...I still don’t understand why you think it’s weird for black women to move to asian countries, especially when they are passionate by culture ? I mean, if they don’t move there just for their creepy worship of Asian men, there are not problem at all ?? Do you also find weird when it’s white women who moved to Korea or it’s only when its BW ?
@agreshshun54433 жыл бұрын
@@rymc3437 I find it weird and simply ignorant when anyone goes to any country with unrealistic expectations or reasons, but to answer your specific question, yes I definitely feel the same way when white women go to S. Korea for ignorant unrealistic reasons. The only difference is between white women going to S.Korea for unrealistic reasons and Black women going for unrealistic reasons, is the fact that white women have a better chance at actually getting their Kpop/Kdrama boyfriend. Black women? Not so much. I also said, the people who go to S.Korea for reasons other than their love of Kpop or Korean dramas are in the minority. Your friend is in the minority group. I'm a black woman myself. I'm not trying to bring black women down, nor am I trying to discourage black women from dating. My point is to not go to homogenous countries that are known for their anti-black ideals and culture, expecting to find a boyfriend. Dating aside, don't even expect to be treated like a human half the time. The comments under this video talking about how they want to go to Korea and find the love of their life...good luck 😂😂😂 Is it impossible? Nah. Are the chances high? Also nah.

Now that's why I love my country. In my little Caribbean island interracial marriages are so common. Our country comprises mostly of african and indian. We have had an influx of Chinese. We also have a lot of white people who have chosen to settle down here. We now have a lot of Venezuelans. There are no boundaries. Indian and African are the most common mix but you also find the chinese and white, white and african. Venezuelan and Indian, Venezuelan and African. It is so common that no one blinks an eye at these interracial couples. I myself am a mix of indian and african. Locally we're called "douglas". My husband is African. This is one of the reasons I'll visit other countries but never choose to live anywhere else.

To all of you people who are commenting discouraging things about black women saying that these men don't find bw attractive are just trying to discourage bw from dating interracially. Everything thing you spew is the same crap. There are black women and girls who find find asian guys attractive (and have a preference for them) and would like to date and marry them. And so what if they're into kpop or korean dramas most black girls who are into that stuff tend to have a preference for asian guys.
@brimarie323 жыл бұрын
It's true that there are lot of people who will use scare tactics to try to dissuade BW from dating interracially BUT as a bw who has dated interracially and has LIVED in SK I will tell you that there is some truth to this. When I lived in SK, I happened to meet the most gorgeous bw through a white girl friend of mine. She checked all of the boxes that bm and nonblack look for when wanting to marry a bw. This bw told me she wanted to marry and settle down in SK but couldn't find a man to do it with. My white girl friend is actually dating a korean guy and this same korean guy is friends with this bw (that's how we all met. he was having drinks with the bw and we all met up with them. He met her before he met his now white gf and they've remained friends over the years.) I've heard this man say out of his mouth that she will have a hard time finding a good korean man to marry because most will not marry a bw. His own parents told him that he could date a foreigner, but she better not be a bw; which is why all of his gfs have been white. I can call my korean guy friends now and they will attest to this. Can you meet one that will want to commit to you, absolutely. But as a collective, Asian men (especially korean men) are NOT checking for bw like that. and it's not just bw. nonblack women have a hard time dating in korea as well.
@kur0m1773 жыл бұрын
@@brimarie32 ma'am, of course Asian men (or any other race of men) are going to prefer to marry or date White women. white people are the dominant society and other races want to be close to them. But just because you have 1 korean male friend who said that KM or korean people perfer white women that doesn't men you discourage black women from dating in that country and to be honest, I don't trust the opinions of nonwhite men who date exclusively white women because 9 times 10 out of ten they'll will side with white women when it comes to the opinions of black women dating and whatnot. I've seen and heard of BW who are married to korean men in korea and their families accept them. And yes there are asian men who prefer black woman and who are dating and marrying them. One thing that I notice about the topics of black women/girls in dating or having an interest in these asian countries like (japan or korea) is that lot of people like to discourage black women from these countries by saying things like "the men there will fetishize you" "they don't like darkskin" or "you'll have a hard time dating there because they prefer White women or their own women" I seriously believe that alot of y'all are aligned/work with white women when it comes to the opinions of black women dating in these countries (or dating asian guys) and whatnot. White women aren't loved like that in those asian countries like y'all think they are. They mostly go to those countries to whore and go on sex-capedes (probably why they are preferred 🙄) I read tons of net boards that talk about WW that live in those countries most of the time their sleeping around and getting into all types of shenanigans

@@kur0m177 Have you ever lived in Sk? Honest question. Listen, I'm not here to argue with you. You seem like an intelligent woman and you've clearly made up your mind on this subject. The reason I responded to your comment was because I saw how you bashed another bw who shared her experience while living in that country. She wasn't some pickme trying to discourage you from dating asian man, either. She provided a very balanced perspective (one that happens to align with many black/nonblack women living in sk) and you tore her down because it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Many of us aren't saying that you can't find love in these countries, we're saying that this is the general rule of thumb. And it honestly has more to do with korea's homogenous/collective mindset than the color of our skin. Again, I'm not here to argue with you I just don't think you should be bashing your sisters while caping for group of men who won't do the same for you. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about how to get to korea or living there.

@BriMarie We see your point of view and your exsperience but we're not saying all Asian men love black women, we know they have an issue with looking Asian themselves and the cast system, but when black women go around online hollering on they don't like us, o black men don't like us, o white men don't like us, people watch that and internalize that house it aganst black women and make videos on it, to make it seem as if everybody hates black women, we need to have some pride, yes Asian men like white women, BUT in the Asian culture they're not always accepting of their sons marrying a white woman because she dosnt have the same cultural values as an asian,so they usually want their sons to marry a light Asian women, so if it came down to him marrying a black women or an white woman, they'd choose the white woman, but overall Asian people want their sons to marry Asian women.

@@atomaticbillt3532I will agree that bw need to stop subscribing to the idea that ww are always preferred over us because at some point it does become a self-fulfilling prophecy. I am a black female and people forget we look exotic to others and any difference always is a push-back or discrimination with any people, I am not saying it's right. You move to a nation of the same ethnic group for thousands of years they slowly have history with Whites and then now the new migration is of Black people. It takes time, which we all don't have. The best advise is to not let a man use you for sexual desire of any group, to actually treat dating Asian men there as you would Western men here. Don't date losers or racist, vet the men make sure they have something going for themselves far as education and that they have parents and family who are open to people of difference.
