80's were the best!!! We would have a pre-party to get the area we were having a party, usually a field or gravel pit or just some wooded area, then have the party then after a post party to clean up from the actual party! So fun!

What fun! I loved asking those same questions to my mother, back in the day. It's the best way to learn about her as a young woman. You forgot the most important one though. What is the one self-doubt that gets whispered in your head all the time? (Ask that one in private though) Be willing to share also and your mother and you will be closer than ever.

The first time I snuck out with a friend out of my bedroom window we just played badminton. My mom said the next day go out the front door, so I did the next time.

"Cooties" LOL, I had to laugh at that, I have not heard that word since I was a kid. Always saying what girls had "coodies" if we did not like them. I can relate to Mom a lot since we are close to the same age. I think our generation was the last to spend more times outdoors mostly because we did not have cell phone or cable TV so we had to make our own fun. Then MTV came alive in the early 80's and there were concerts all over the place to see all these new artists/groups. Now we have computers, smart phone, Wii, XBox, etc and the kids just do not go outside any more. My kids all have new bikes...daughter has road hers maybe 4-5x's in the a year? I put MILES on my bike everyday. So, to get my kids out, we snowmobile, Alpine ski, Boating, water-skiing, go to the shore (ocean) and camp IN a tents every year on a lake for 4-7 days with no cell phone signals - none when camping. It's the best time. Get back home, they are all back on their devices...Uhg! This video was a joy to watch and I got a chuckle from your Mom. Sounds like she was really a "Goody-Two Shoes"...LOL!!
