@@osakarose5612 I am sorry for your loss. As a single, empty nester, the air fryer is perfect. It takes minutes compared to an oven and so much less fat when you compare to frying. There are facebook groups that are dedicated to easy air fryer recipes. I find experimenting and improvising is good as well if you are experienced in cooking. One of my favourite go-tos is fresh asparagus in the air fryer. I pop it in the air fryer when I get in the shower to get ready for work and it is done and delicious (and healthy) for a work meal. I have done shiitake and pork dumplings (lots of green onions) in the air fryer and they were amazing.

I've resisted an air fryer for a LONG time, but decided that I want to try it out as a way to try to cook more single/double servings instead of my usual "cook for a family of 12 and have leftovers for the rest of my natural life." :D

So I had chicken thighs out for dinner, and had no inspiration for what to make with them. So I decided to try the teriyaki chicken rice bowl (8:44). Turned out amazingly well! Claire was right, the ginger is the key component. And for being such a simple dish, Aaron was right as well - the green onion went surprisingly well. More green onion, more better!

Hey Aaron! Just tried out the Fried Rice recipe (I added an extra tablespoon of Sesame Oil) and even my dad that’s been cooking for the family for decades says it wasn’t half bad! Omg you guys, tried the Mabo tofu recipe and it totally works! Never would have guessed it was made in an airfryer omg. Also tried the egg fried rice recipe, also blew my mind. Who would have thought you can make fried rice in the airfryer? Not as good as wok fry but it is still good given the convenience. Thankyou so much for sharing these recipes, they were awesome and so good for busy people! I will try the teriyaki one next.
