This isn't a gear review, a rant, or photography advice. In the Christmas spirit, I partnered with one of my brands Very Dep Studio in Hanoi to photograph glamor portraits of 20 shelter dogs and 4 cats all looking for a loving home. We wanted to feature these dogs/cats in the best light possible in the hopes of helping them get adopted. Here is a little video about the project.
During the holidays, see if you can use your photography for a good cause, I promise, you'll be glad you did, and if have, please share it with me.
Happy Holidays everyone and I look forward to 2021.
For my tech people, here is the gear we used for the photoshoot.
I shot the portraits with a Hasselblad X1D, one Profoto D1 with a beauty dish. We used a hand-painted black canvas backdrop.
Photographer Ian Rock shot the behind the scenes and natural moments with a Canon 5DM4 and an Aputure 300D.
