@Zombies Eat Jerky You are forgetting that Houdini is better at Motion Graphic and only cost 1/10 of the price.
@Phillefx2 жыл бұрын
@@MarquisDeSang Depends on the task. For simpler motion graphics houdini is way overkill and more time consuming than cinema4d. At the end the client doesn't care which software you use, but how long it took. Of course advanced simulations should be done in Houdini. But big companys still use both and thats the reason why

don't understand now. I am a Zbrush customer who bought a full software in 2020 that I paid max 900, will I have to pay this every month subscription in the future or what? or will I only have to pay for the update once? like right now? Can someone please explain that to me?
@junechevalier2 жыл бұрын
I think you can still use your perpetual license for however long you want, just not future updates
@Floreum2 жыл бұрын
You keep your software, but say goodbye to free updates. So far it looks like you are basically paying full price for upgrades, as suggested by third-party resllers, but we'll see when 2023 gets announced. But it's looking like when you buy zBrush upgrades going forward, you will NOT get any feature updates, just ]bug fixes.
@starwarz84792 жыл бұрын
It depends what license you got whether it's annual subscription or perpetual license plan. If you purchased a perpetual license last year, and decided to stop paying next year, you will stop getting new version updates along with maintenance that's about it. I don't know how much of a difference those new features for ZBrush make tho?
@Cola-422 жыл бұрын
You get to keep it. It never expires, but you don't get any new update except bug fixes. It's a complete package on its own, and after they added the dynamic system which would have been a big deal if that wasn't there but you have that too. Maxon still hasn't provided zBrush with anything worth upgrading to. The only thing that would be really big is probably if they add a new hair system to it. Imagine zBrush with Ornatrix or Yeti, that would be something.

The most expensive software that requires you to rent plenty of other software sold by Maxon is getting nowhere. Blender is obviously better in any way shape or form than C4D and Houdini completely destroys C4D in every possible Motion Graphics ways.

About Mograph and Dynamics field, C4D is King about comfort, convenience and efficiency. that's why while the shitty Blender fanatics are talking crap, C4D is still one of the most expensive softwares and they never need to explain this "absurdity" to those guys.
