Blue by ADT. Don't do it. PREDATORY CONTRACT. I am stuck in a 36-month contract for a service I decided I don't want and never even activated. Can you imagine if the system doesn't work well? You are still stuck with it, like a car payment. To cancel, I will have to pay $800. The cheap equipment they mailed is not even worth $200. DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT.

I just ordered Blue by ADT, and I didn't have to pay for my security system equipment upfront. I only had to pay $55.99 for an activation fee. The fee was supposed to be $79.00 but when I told him I recently experienced some financial difficulties he dropped it to $55.99. I am paying $39.99 per month for Blue by ADT which is $19 for monitoring, $6 for the security camera service, and $13 and change for leasing the equipment.

Blue is $40 a month w/video, not $20. And Blue has a 36 month contract with a high early termination fee.

Well theres one thing that you didn't mention which I found out the hard way Which is with Adt if you move houses you cannot take your equipment that you bougth already and set it up in the new address as for blu by adt you can

One difference is currently Blue by ADT Doesn’t have smoke detectors.

I just installed a Blue outdoor camera & I'm disappointed. Once the camera picks up motion then it must reconnect to the internet. I'm not even getting pictures of what it detected since it's so slow. It could also be that it only pairs with 2g & not 5g from your modem.

Ditch the noise boom beat box in the backgrounds when you do videos. It is distracting, distracts from comprehension, pi##es people off and not everyone like gansta rap. Substitute easy listening music at a low level so that speaking is not challenged or overwrought by the extreme noise. Pitiful
