How long does HIV live inside a host body taking PrEP while the virus can't replicate? Does the immune system kill it off immediately?

Where does the 90% protection figure come from? Studies I've seen show that gay men who take PrEP every day are completely protected (100%).

Nothing is completely safe. Condoms have fail risks as well. I read at least one case of a man who contracted HIV from his partner after using prep. When it doubt, best to use both.

it is close to 100 if you take it every day consistently however they know that some people will skip few days a week and then the protection can decrease. However the 100% never exists and the same goes for condom too

This makes it sound like you can take it only when you are engaging in risky behavior (ie- taking the pill only on the days when you have sex with someone). The medication has to build up (and remain built up) in your system in order to provide its maximum benefits. This video also doesn't explain who may or may not actually be eligible to take the medicine.
