FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell continues surveying damage today in parts of North Carolina For anyone who cannot reach their loved ones in the affected areas, follow the guidelines being released from each state as they work with local officials to conduct safety and wellness checks.
On Sunday, President Joseph R. Biden approved a Major Disaster declaration for South Carolina, allowing individuals in 13 counties to apply for FEMA assistance.
Everyone in the affected areas should continue to follow instructions from local officials to stay safe from post-storm risks. Anyone with life safety or life-saving needs should contact 911. Anyone with non-life-threatening needs call 211.
