I love this channel so much. It has really been helping me and my bf to practice since my daughter was diagnosed with a disorder that will eventually take her hearing. We want to teach her to sign and learn to communicate well with her before that happens.

Hello. I am a librarian and I work with a handful of deaf patrons. I know basic sings and fingerspelling (skills from high school from classes taken long ago)- but I've learned so much just from working with my patrons. I was hoping to maybe get a request in. Would you be interested in making signs that are computer and library related? Your videos are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing your ASL skills with us.

Not sure if you'll read this but...could you please put something together for consider putting something together for Santa? This may sound like a strange request but i will tell you why. This year was my first year as a "professional Santa". I had so much fun that I have decided to pursue it as a hobby/small business as I approach retirement age. The one encounter that has stood out for me from this season was a little boy coming to see me. This boy had 2 Cochlear implants. He came into the room and approached me, then started signing. He must have immediately realized that I had no clue as to what he was trying to tell me and the utter disappointment that washed over his face and the heartbreak on his Mother's has haunted me since. So I am here. I have finished the week one course and am trying to absorb all I can. My goal is to at least be able to communicate when its necessary and perhaps not have anymore regrettable moments for either the child or myself. Hopefully I can learn and this little boy will decide to give me another chance. Thank you.
