Oh my gosh there is so much emotion behind this. That's one thing I love about ASL..the emotion. It's such a beautiful language. I started learning it a few months ago and I would really like to become fluent, eventually. It's so hard to try and find people to practice with! Your videos are awesome!

Just started watching your videos! Love them! I'm going to school to be an interpreter! I always found songs to be extremely difficult for some reason. I think it's because you can interpret them so many ways and I always sit there and obsess over how exactly to sign it. But watching videos helps. I love your emotion. love the emotion you put into it :) however the one thing i have to say is that for "say" you're signing "hearing" (as in someone who has the ability to hear). "say" is just a simple point to the corner of your mouth :)

ASL is about interpreting the meaning behind the phrases. There are a billion ways to interpret the song. I went through at least 10 different interpretations before I stuck with this one. I try and make the signs go with the music so its catchy and people can learn it. If you want exact, you should study SEE not ASL.

I think your great. doing songs make me more excited to teach deaf kids. I wanna learn all of them. I always check for new posts. Your really good at making it flow, use of space and expressions and its good practice for you and for the people who sees them with signs/gloss. Loved your video for this, but I just wanted to assure you that it's ok to sign in metaphor. Some parts it seems like you signed the literal meaning of the lyrics, particularly on the chorus, which is perfectly ok to do. I'm not sure if it's your style or not, but it is perfectly ok for "I came in like a wrecking ball" to sign "I come same ball crash". While I myself am not fluent, I just thought you might want to know :)

when you signing "say" its coming across as if you are signing hearing as in the person. Speak is more commonly signed with the number 4 thrown infront of your chin kinda like how you would sign old

I learned that the sign for MAKEOUT was you touch wrists and then twirl them. I remember because its similar to COFFEE so you have to be careful not to mix them up.

I learned that the double-ILY sign like this actually means "making love" as in having sex. So I agree with Gabbie, be cautious about using this sign to mean simply romance! :)
