Are you watching the Summer Olympics? That could make for a fun ASL video. You could even wear costumes for different countries. LOL!

Is that a slight 15-degree arc or a slight 30-degree arc instead? Just kidding. Does ASL have a lot of synonyms like the English language, for example, the "tell" and "say" signs, or are there usually clear-cut differences?
@ASLLOVE2 ай бұрын
I would say it's a slight 25-degree arc 😉That's a great question and I think the answer is both. While there are plenty of signs that have more that one meaning (which you would show by changing your facial expression or speed of the sign) there are also clear-cut differences. For the example of TELL and SAY you have different signs.

Heyy, got a question. Is it always with the right hand, or is it done with the dominant? (I'm left-handed, so I'm a little confused)
@ASLLOVE2 ай бұрын
@@lyreandfigs That is a great question. You would use your dominant hand. If you are ever in doubt, try it both ways and you will feel that it is more comfortable with your dominant hand.

The sign that you’re explaining right now for the word tell with the same sign be for the words say speak speech?
@ASLLOVEАй бұрын
@@markpool1321 Thanks for watching, that’s a great question. They are not the same signs. While I do not have a video for all of the above listed words, I do have one for TALKING. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4SpqZ2wgNp0i9kfeature=shared
