Thanks for the video! Bought the game over the weekend and watched this before playing & it helped tremendously. Super fun game & it’ll definitely be hitting my table a lot! ODD was my first ever solo board game & I’ve been playing that (along with other solo games) for about a year and a half. Now that I’ve got that all down this was a perfect next step! Thanks - just played the PC game tutorial, and this video helped reinforce my learning. I assume that @ 18:00 you could claim one influence on Rystwen with the pair of 3's by using the Felisi's tech, then play the pair of 6's for another two influence.

@@AsmadiGames The rules were a bit tricky and many playthrough videos seems to make mistakes also. Now I have all the physical 'One Deck' games and expansions, and I just bought the digital versions on Steam during a sale. The digital versions helped a lot.

I was getting confused for the wording of the adversary confrontation card. It says you can flip the card if there are no dice on it. That makes me think I can partly fill in a row and store dice or markers until it's completed and then take the enemy down a level. But then I also see people playing with rule that the whole row must be completed in one turn before dice are reset. That would mean that there would never be dice or markers sitting on it at the start of your action. Is there a scenario I'm missing.

23:02 - Do you *HAVE* to fill in a whole row in one turn? The instructions and wording say "if". As in, "if" i fill in a row this turn, i get the influence reward, but can i half fill in the row? I'm confused because the instructions refer to this phase as (paraphrasing) 'You can spend multiple turns to complete a card.' But at reset phase they also say that the dice and tokens get moved back to the pool from everywhere (unless a card says otherwise). So in short, can i leave dice/tokens on a location/encounter card between turns until a row is completed?

A row is cleared at the end of a turn, you must complete it to get credit. You can spend multiple turns gaining influence at a card, completing rows each time.

I dunno how much it was me being stupid deciding to play this when too tired, or how much the wording could be better, but I played half s game thinking actions were supposed to be resolved one way, snd half the game thinking they were supposed to be resolved a difference way. ... clearly by my typing, I am still too tired to understand...
