I'm not a fan of Asmongold, but if you're going to reference him, try to include a clip of him saying it instead of just showing a video of you explaining his words. You'll lose credibility when you inevitably embellish what he said. You also mentioned him being a regular youtube comentator these days, you're falling in to the same pit with 2 videos in three weeks regarding him
@Nadestraight3 ай бұрын
I never said doing commentary wasn't a smart form of content relative to time and money, I simply stated he kinda does that stuff these days 😅 Not including the clip is just me rushing out a video, there's several screenshots and clips etc I could've included but ultimately I just wanted to get a fast video out as the topic is time sensitive

eh i know what asmongold said some things that were insensitive... also no idea what he meant by inferior... but i get his opinion...just a newsflash... this genocide started in 1948.... nobody cared here in the US from when you were born until like 2024... i'm sure asmongolds point was why should he start caring now when nobody including the person reading this cared for over 70 years... also this genocide isn't the only genocide currently taking place.... why is it the only one being talked or cared about.... people seem so superficial... only caring about it now because people they care about told them to care about it... like for the last 70 years we were told to not concern ourselves with things like that... here is a list of genocides you should concern yourself with if you consider yourself holy art thou. China India Syria Yemen Ethiopia Nigeria Somalia Myanmar Central African Republic. these are all locations of currently ongoing genocides that nobody seems to care about... so i don't blame asmongold for adding Palestine to the list of places people don't seem to publicly care about...

It's just like when everyone suddenly cared so much about Ukraine being invaded by Russia when there are wars all over the world where innocent civilians are getting slaughtered every day but nobody fucking cares...And of course people moved on and now most people don't care about Ukraine that much either because they're not being told it's the biggest issue by the media anymore . I don't blame people for being selfish but just don't pretend you arn't.

China: The Chinese government continues to face accusations of crimes against humanity and possibly genocide against Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang. Reports of forced labor, mass internment, sterilization, and other oppressive measures have been well-documented, though the Chinese government denies these claims. India: While India is not currently experiencing genocide, there are tensions and violence, particularly involving religious and ethnic minorities, such as Muslims and Dalits. Human rights groups have raised concerns about rising communal violence, but it has not escalated to the level of genocide. Syria: Ongoing violence in Syria, particularly by government forces and rebel groups, continues to result in civilian deaths. While not officially labeled genocide, war crimes, and mass killings have taken place throughout the civil war. Various factions have targeted specific groups, such as the Kurds, with systematic violence. Yemen: The civil war in Yemen, involving Houthi rebels and a Saudi-led coalition, has led to mass suffering, starvation, and a humanitarian disaster. While it's not officially termed a genocide, the scale of violence, especially against civilians, has led to widespread destruction and deaths. Ethiopia: Ethnic violence in Ethiopia, particularly against the Tigrayan population, has been severe. Crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing have occurred in the Western Tigray region, and some human rights groups have referred to this as genocidal in nature due to the targeted persecution of Tigrayans by Ethiopian and Amhara forces. Nigeria: Northern Nigeria faces severe violence from extremist groups such as Boko Haram and bandits. Civilians, especially in rural areas, are targeted in attacks. While this violence isn't officially categorized as genocide, the systematic killing of civilians, particularly Christians and other minorities, has drawn international concern. Somalia: Somalia is plagued by ongoing violence from the al-Shabaab militant group, leading to significant civilian casualties. Similar to Nigeria, while it is not classified as genocide, the prolonged conflict has devastated many communities. Myanmar: The Rohingya Muslim population in Myanmar has faced what many international bodies have called genocide. Since 2017, mass killings, rapes, and forced displacement by the military have targeted this ethnic minority, though Myanmar's government denies these allegations. Central African Republic (CAR): Ethnic and religious violence continues in CAR, with Christian and Muslim militias committing atrocities against each other's communities. This conflict involves mass killings and ethnic cleansing but hasn't officially been termed genocide by international bodies. Israel/Palestine: The ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict involves violence from both sides, particularly in the Gaza Strip. While some groups claim that Israel's actions towards Palestinians resemble ethnic cleansing or genocide, this is a highly contested issue, with other sources labeling it as part of a prolonged territorial conflict.

I think you are missing some nuance here. When people do not care about something they do not spend time on thinking about it, might not even be aware. Asmongold not only thinks about it, but broadcasts how he does not care about it for views. He is an influencer and he tries to influence people to not care. This is not the same as a single mom working 3 jobs not caring about it.

It's an inferior culture because of the way they treat women and different faith. To put this into perspective, Mus lim is living in 13rd century, Catholic is living in 16th century and Christian is living in 19th century.

i don't think he's gonna feel really "on the edge" if we take what he said in his response video. I think he also realized how much of an asshole he was. I'm curious to see how he shapes his content now. I do not think what he said was necessarily untrue, but the way he said it was really rough and very aggressive and i do feel like a change was expected, this was just a trigger. [EDIT] I'm saying this mainly because this apology video is really close with his other ZackRawrr stuff he did on that other channel. I think he should really focus more on the Zack part rather than the Asmongold persona.

@Nadestraight you are definitely missing the point if you think his apology was just a staged operation to avoid being harassed more. i think he has never been the guy to orchestrate everything around him to shape people's opinion on him. quite the contrary, he never really cared about the opinions of people. so why would he say the things he Needs to say instead of what he Truly thinks? even if they ban him forever, he can live out his life in wealth, who cares? why can't you imagine that he just said what he was thinking, on the spot like he always does? instead now he had a bit of time to stop and thinking on it a bit.... maybe there is a jealosy in you towards his success? maybe deep down you would want to say anything online like he does but you can't? but it looks like it's too hard for you to accept that he meant what he said. i think it definitely looks that way and not how you articulated it. i can be wrong though. but just see Will Smith apology if you want to see a fake apology video, or look at Joe Rogan's apology if you want to see a sincere one. if you ask me, Asmongold's apology video is as honest as it can

When a man who previously said "I will never make an apology" makes one after facing being cancelled, within 24 hours, and then also comments on a Reddit post saying "oh don't worry, I'll still be talking about DEI topics and wars etc" literally the same day, all signs lead to him doing the apology to save face. Do some research, stop sucking his sausage, I'm afraid you might be a little brainwashed

as much as I disagree with what asmon said, I don't think he deserves a ban for it. twitch may ban people for whatever reasons they want, but it's not clear that asmon even violated any of the existing rules, and this sets a foreboding precedent.

I completely agree with what Asmon said and what he said was mild/tame. Pretty ordinary view, not even outside the Overton Window. Twitch is just run by terminally online goons who virtue signal about Muslims when those same people hate them, lol. It's like during COVID when you couldn't question *ANYTHING* without a ban. It doesn't mean the criticisms were wrong, he was just persecuted. Simple as.

What Asmongold said was that the problems in the middle east are their problems and shouldn't be our problems, because he feels our intervention just makes things worse. Therefore, don't tell me about genocide as a way to entice me to getting involved, I do NOT want to get involved. He's right also about the Pro Palestine/Pro LGBT people being a walking contradiction, you can't be both. It's impossible. Do you know what they do to LGBT people in Palestine? It's not just Iran or Saudi Arabia. Example: people goto prison all the time in Dubai for kissing in public. It's ILLEGAL there. If something so tame in a TOURIST area of the UAE is that harsh, just think about the reality. How can be you a wholly Globalist Ideology but also pro the very thing that contradicts it? You can't without just being a terminally online goon. I wouldn't listen to those mobs either. These people are not stable and cannot be reasoned with. Those people are not operating on logic, but emotion. You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into. I just started listening to him a few weeks ago and I caught those comments live. I totally agree with him btw.
