There's ZERO reason why classic content is the only legacy content that we can't Timewalk or talk to Zodormi to access... The elitists have had their time being the only ones with the old stuff for long enough, and this is coming from someone who has many very rare/high status items, some of which are no longer available. Sure, it may feel good to feel special, but I would NEVER wish for my items to become exclusive just because I got them first... Any items you can earn through traditional gameplay should always continue to be available. I've wanted the Corrupted Ashbringer since I first learned about it, which was only less than a year before it was removed... It's not my fault I started playing WoW too late to get it in time, I wasn't old enough to own a computer then, and even if I was, it's also not my fault for not anticipating that it would be removed... which btw is something Blizzard stopped doing because they realized that it was a huge mistake to lock new players out of old content... I personally think we should be able to stomp the classic instances like all the other legacy content, but I can already hear the screeching of elitist man-children who never learned to share. So I'd gladly accept having to earn it through a timewalking event, I may even prefer it that way, just bring it back already...

It holds that spot mainly do to how fucking hard it was to get at that time and the short window that raid was even doable. I was in a server first guild and from beginning, server first might/second Wrath OT/MT and that shit broke our guild. The time sink on farming was just rediculous unless you were willing to buy gold. That, however, was seriously frowned upon at that time. Later found out my guild master was, he was an early Dev on the game.
