Honestly the idea to combine action with a rhythm game is genius, since a lot of action games require good timing in some ways, doubling down on on it adds another dimension to the gameplay, also turns out it’s really fun, even traversal if done correctly is fun, great game, a lot of care and passion went into making it, you can almost smell it.

Definitely going to be a Character Action game classic with the best. DMC Series up there, then Bayo, then Nier: A for the narrative, MG:R for the music and iconic cinematic, and Ninja Gaiden Black also up there.

Can you customize the difficulty on this game or is it the usual easy, normal, hard, very hard? Asmon isn't a rhythmically inclined person but he wants to have a challenging game so I feel like he wants to have rhythm timing in the normal/hard difficulty (so the combat feels smooth even if he is no in the right timing) but the damage taken and damage dealt is in very hard difficulty. It's hard to have fun in combat when you are not familiar with rhythm games like Asmongold here where he can't triple dash since it is tied to player input unlike the combat which is still on the beat even if he isn't (timing it on the beat just adds extra damage). If he plays this more, he has to master the rhythm since parrying will be the next mechanic and that is pure rhythm. There's also a boss that is only parrying later in the game.

@@gaiko804 There's auto action and an option for more forgiving "scan lines" for players that aren't rhythmically inclined. And of course, lowering the difficulty makes it forgiving as well. Once Asmon unlocked Rhythm Master and tries it, he's pretty much required to play on the rhythm and maintain it.

Bruh I fucking hate how people attribute the WHOLE game to a publisher and not the actual devs. I've heard people say that NETFLIX did a GOOD JOB with Arcane, when all it provided was a platform. The same goes for this game too - it was MADE by Tango, and PUBLISHED by Bethesda, it means that while Bethesda approved of the game and might have influenced big parts of it, it was MADE by a smaller studio AND NOT FUCKING BETHESDA
