complete opposite for me... cant stand hearing mcconnell cry, whine, and rage... such a tool... I can't even fathom why asmon puts up with that guy... asmon is so calm and will explain some logic, and mcconnell just goes off unhinged... though if you watch it to hear his ridiculous comments I could understand a certain appeal... like hatewatching a terrible movie 4:30 - complete overreaction to asmon thinking about professions 30:53 - complaining that ret pally should do as much dmg as warrior (convo starts at 28:53) 1:43:10 - crying because asmon is logging LOL all in all, he wasn't too bad this stream, but anybody who thinks mcconnell is "acting" is huffing copium, you can hear his fear, dismay, rage, etc in his voice

It's been a while since I saw him playing like this with McConnell. As if everything in the game mattered. Every small nice thing needed attention. And that ambience in the back, NPC voices, the sound of walking, smelting and so on... Hardcore really makes people play it as it was meant to play a long time ago. I'm really enjoying these uploads.

I think if you want an end game experience from lvl 1 then retail is perfect. If you want immersion and all of that then classic is better. I prefer classic. The game doesnt have to be that slow but at least there is time to smell the flowers etc.

57:04 Difficulty is not why i left this game i was doing fine even in top tier difficulty content. I left the game because retail and classic have nothing in common. Classic is the WORLD of Warcraft and it feels like a world(especially on PVP servers). There's stuff to do all over the place, you keep travelling and meeting people, you interact with them for a million different reasons and everything happen organically because all of the in-game systems are geared toward player interaction and most of them aren't optional. You got to make friends to progress and SURVIVE. Retail is a 3D menu for RDF and LFR so antisocial people can pretend they're playing with other people. Changes meant for convenience and infinite vertical progression screwed up that world. I signed up for the former, not the latter. The saddest part is, getting rid of the world in World of Warcraft wasn't enough they're in the process of removing Warcraft from it too. There isn't even a point anymore having 2 factions in that game. I didn't want to stay when literally every xpac launch made me like the game LESS than the one before.

I suggest turning off Twitch chat for this Duo HC Run. Not all content needs to be interactive. Also, make a new chat window called "Peace". This window should display all relevant information about looting, experience you acquire, creature emotes, and PARTY CHAT ONLY. No World Chat, no /Whispers.

Look at it this way, if it wasnt for weak auras, deadly boss mobs and other such add-ons would these bosses be killable? Would world first guilds still be able to kill mythic raid bosses without addons? The use of addons that tell players what buttons to press and what to expect turns players into data processors of the scripts behind these addons. Remove the addons and lets see just how many bosses can be killed.

Current retail WoW should just be WoW 2 by now. It's gone through at least 2 full reconfigurations that left the 'Vanilla Experience' completely unattainable. And it isn't like they'd of had to stop making WoW 1, but they could've gotten people to move to an effective power reset and re-simplified the raids and dungeons. But oh well, I guess making the mechanics so extremely taxing that no one does the raids works too.

Didn't most Warriors back in Vanilla go half Arms and half Prot, for tanking? Cause there's some stuff in Arms that helps with threat, and it's just generally good to be able to do a little more damage too. Pure Prot is just a pain in the ass. Course, for me that was like 16 or so years ago, so I might be misremembering.

Rogue has always been the staple any fantasy game ever since dnd o want Paladin as well but if any class Druid is not the first class i think of when it comes to classic arpgs or fantasy games. Even in a game like Baldurs Gate having a rogue is a mainstay staple but ya Paladin shouldve made base game for Diablo IV for sure. I always played my Rogue with cutthroat, agilty, imbuements qnd always perferred the close range fast paced combat thats what the rogue really offers over other melee based classes.
