Or keep it simple, when the player casts BLIND, instead of an annoying pop-up saying the enemy is blind or not, u actually just see ppls eyes explode and they scream, something like, idk, "my eyes," lol. Just sayin, this game is boring af and Elden Ring won GotY bc it took OFF the kid gloves in many ways that this game doesn't (altho we all know Bloodborne is a tighter experience), and I DEF see what could have been with a magic system and environment not so... corporate family friendly.

IIRC using Expelliarmus when they are charging up one of their big aoe spells usually makes them nuke themselves with it instead lmao. That and using force pull/push spells to throw other dark wizards into the flaming or lightning tornados is so fun to do lol

As for talents you probably need the one that refreshes the cooldowns faster. Would make gameplay more smooth. Also the revelio upgrade to find stuff easier when searching is imo helpful.

you're not supposed to rush the game, thats why you're now in autumn, take some time to enjoy the world thats how they clearly designed this game to explore, I explored the world and stumbled unto a wizard directing musical instruments, I tipped him 10g and he showed up with an extra instrument, little stuff like that is fun, rushing the main quests and not taking time to do some potion brewing or plant growing is just taking away from the experience, room of requirement impressed me much more than I thought it would with how enjoyable it is, its cool to make a potion that makes you invulnerable and lets you test spell counters against trolls, instead of mashing buttons and not reading each enemy's info to learn how they fight and how you can beat them effectively

Exploration, finding pages and doing side quests will really screw you over on the game difficulty because you gain levels so damn fast that you end up leveling beyond the recommended level range for the main story quests so the game becomes too easy. Had to put it on hard mode after the first 8 hrs. lol

The first time the bone bridge puzzle showed up I thought it was just an odd buggy puzzle they didn't finish. But then it kept showing up in so many of those types of dungeons. 🤣 _Gotta levitate the remains into a bridge, just normal Hogwarts things!_

I can't wait for Peta to try to cancel Hogwarts legacy for essentially allowing pseudo poaching. by grabbing magical animals and farming them for materials or selling them to that lady. I still find it funny that the best way to make money is to literally go into the woods, stuff as many small fluffy creatures into your magic bag as possible and sell them to a pet shop owner for 120 a piece.

Nah bruh the eyeball chests are worth 500 each. As soon as you learn Disillusionment you can go pop all them eyeball chests around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade for HUGE money, and SOME of them are bugged because I've managed to collect money out of chests that were already open a few different times, so hopefully that doesn't get patched

This game is literally morrowind all over again. I am surprised not many realize this. Difference is its a harry potter world, but the amount of overall gameplay in exploration and even combat, and small dungeons, can't but remind me of morrowind in absolutely everything. its the same feeling of exploring the wild and unknown locations too. You can get sidetracked by endless things and never finish the main plot too. hehe.

Not as big as Elden Ring but it is an amazing game combat is fluent creative and fun. Loot is a blast to find. There's so much to say about it I think it's worth 70$ imo. 10/10 for me Hogwart's Legacy is 2.95 square miles where as Elden Ring is 95 Sq miles.

In hogwarts legacy The story telling is way better , it’s more meaningful , it’s actually woven together and told well , there’s more content within a smaller map , and it doesn’t need a loading screen for every new area. Stop hating on the game … you try so hard to put down this game because you know it makes elden ring look bad. Elden ring is so dry now that this game shows what the new consoles can actually do. Plus they have the game literally set up to keep improving it and adding on it. I 100% elden ring so don’t even try saying idk what I’m talking about. This game is the first to EVER do the things it does such as having so many levels within one big level and needing nothing more than a screen flash to go between them. There are generations for gaming for a reason just like everything else. The tech just don’t compare bud. Even with tech aside , the Harry Potter universe and story telling is SOOOOO far ahead your little dark souls story lmao. Everyone in that universe has the same story. No sense in keeping gear when it's replaced so often as you level up due to continually finding upgrades. Once he gets to 35+ then gear progression slows down a bit to where you can invest in upgrades and have it be worth it

In HL the core is story, main or side. Asmon also keep sayin that. But he is just vacuum cleaning map without any point. Dont have spells to open doors, or some stuff, dont have quests to start full action on that areas. At the end of a day he will be just overleveled for most of the quests... No fun Asmon. When you started HL and was trying to make quests ,jokes ,etc, it was way more entertainment .

Sadly Hogwarts Legacy is mediocre as balls. Gladly I had only 2 bugs so far where I needed to reload and thus redo a main quest, but the world feels empty and non consequential. You can cast spells everywhere without penalty, even if it leads to the destruction of something. most NPCs can not be talked to unless they are quest givers. Classes are cutscenes except the first ones, not wearing school uniform carries no consequence. Hogwarts as a geographical place exists, but as a school with rules and such it does not exist. For me it takes out all of the immersion, especially since every main quest and convo with teachers leads to "wow you are so talented because you cast this spell, you are better than everyone". I wish the developers had taken some inspiration from rockstar, especially their Bully game. Just take out the fetch quests where you do not even learn stuff but simply buy recipes, seeds and shit and make it a class with minigames where you brew a new recipe rather than buying it for x amount of gold. But I give credit to its score, the music is really nice and I like how skins from equipment stay after looting the equipment so I can keep looking how I want. I just wish there would be reactions to it. Right now I am wearing a full set of armor, no one says a thing about that. To me Hogwarts Legacy is a game I would describe as current. All flash no meat. It lacks the things that would make a game actually want me to engage, which is a compelling and relatable story, player choice and with that consequence and a set of rules put on me by the world the developers build. Maybe the game gets better in that but I played 10 hours and I do not see why it would include those things after that time.

The only reason I’m not confident that gta 6 will be better , is cause their main selling point is being able to enter any door you see. Which hogwarts legacy didn’t need 6 games to do that. Plus they’ve done it first. Rockstar has never done that. Y’all are mad bias over their games because they’ve always been most popular. It all depends on the audience tho. When it actually comes down to game design and tech and story telling and everything that actually matters , this game is just too far ahead. I did 100% on elden ring and that game was trash. There was little to no story , there was almost nowhere to explore. The map was designed in a way to have a bunch of square footage but a lot wasn’t even used as you’d be forced in a narrow path that would open up into your new level leaving you unable to access most of it. Their length of their game relies mainly on having difficult bosses and confusing dungeons , and honestly they just aren’t fun. People don’t play because they enjoy it and have fun. They play those games because they like the feeling of beating a boss after being pissed off for hours. They also know the games have a reputation for doing this so they feel important (idk why) when playing “harder” games
