And this is why I will forever pick casual guilds. Don't care if we're not realm first or even realm 50th. And then they'd force me to spend my time farming the guild master his scarab lord title. He better pay me 100 bucks for the days I will spend grinding, or he can go grind it himself.

@@markup6394 I mean more so about allowing people to play what class, and spec, they want. Unless it's absolutely garbage tier and actively disrupts the raid, I don't think having a retri paladin instead of a fury warrior or something similar will really make that much of a difference. People cleared content with way more suboptimal setups in the original vanilla. It's just so hyperfocused on "efficiency", fun got left behind in the dumpster. And yeah I don't mind the super hardcore guilds that are upfront about it, but these days it seems everyone wants to be hardcore without even actually being good at the game. I get groups that constantly demand this and that from you, then the raid leader can't even press a taunt button. Like bro. I'd much rather trust a Paladin main speccing into retri that knows what he's doing, than some guy who picked up tank warr because he read it's the best tank in classic and barely being able to play it.

@@gogos1234567890 Nah... i used to be a asmon-drone too, watched most of his content cause of it. But i honestly think that his "spurg" moments as he likes to call em, is actually the real him. But he slides just under the "just a prank bruh" people and "reddit edgelord", so plenty of his wibbly wobling is over looked and in todays climate, as long as you have X number of fans or Onlyfans subs\twitch subs you can pretty much kill royals and get away with the most inane behavour. HE does not state his actual opinions anywhere, cause with a slight gust of wind of dis content towards it he crumbles like a sand castle in a hurricane. And this is reflected in everything from statments on games to general stuff and life. there are extremely few opinions he has stated and stood by, but when confronted he word vomits (Same tactic most political people uses when they are cornered in order to change topic and make people forget the original sin\point). MOney wise, being this spineless in todays climate is smart for the wallet, not so much for anything else. these are just a few things he does and have done for ages. As for the Jokes and "silly comments", for me its funny the first 3-4 times. months later with same jokes,, its no longer a joke. But with rolemodels like Kim K, Trump and "raj show", i guess its only time til we are sniffing brain dead no personality clusters of brain poison.

My whole retail guild rolled there because 1 person already had a toon on Grob, none of us are RPers, but it turned out to be great! Very friendly people & some funny RP interactions with Alliance (for instance, there's one guy who does nothing but defend a farm in Hillsbrad in the wee hours of the night).

1:00 Honestly, this is why I enjoy FF14 as much as WoW and play both. FF14 still has constant communities forming left and right in-game and spots where you'd the same gang of people chill. You can head to a city and see the same group of people just chilling there when they're not raiding or PVPing or doing other content, you can sit down, hang out, etc. Don't even get me started on housing wards and guild houses. FF14 has that immersive RPG element to it that WoW Classic had, but Retail doesn't since servers are all connected now. That's why I love hopping between the both, it's refreshing.
