Fun Fact: The one who made this Vergil combo video had to use a mod just to keep the enemy demon alive. Without that mod, demons just drop like flies when you use Vergil. He's that insanely OP (pr rather, he's lore accurate)

Well yeah his sword was the sword that sparda used when he split it in half to give dante rebellion. So of course Virgil will be strong as hell, plus you are playing the fully powered virgil.

To explain Vergil: He is so fucking broken in dmc5 they I'm surprised they don't automatically out the game in dmd (Dante must die) when you play him. The thing with Vergil is this: In DMC3; He's got a pretty strong air combo you can spam and a simple high damage, medium skill level moveset but his judgement cut is hard to land on targets cause of the half second delay on it. DMC4; Is where he gets fucking cracked, he has an infinite combo, cracked Damage, a cracked moveset and simply reduces everything to paste. DMC5 is where the Devs stopped giving a shit and where the "boss when he becomes a playable character" meme gets flipped on its head. He fucking breaks the game, an example is his judgement cut, a high range move that can be done 4 times consecutively if you master the timing, you don't need to worry though, it's piss easy to do mid air. If you use it in SDT (Sin devil trigger) he will target up to 3 enemies from pretty much any range, if you use doppleganger, he will hit the target twice with it, this with his full meter built up means that as long as you land hits and don't get hit, you will melt every enemy and boss in the game. If you don't believe me, watch any dmc5 Vergil speedrun. You could run through every stage by floating in the air and spamming judgement cut or you could do what you saw I'm the video, the enemy will still fucking die. Dante has a very high skill ceiling where you have to put in a lot of hours to optimise him. Nero has an easier ceiling but had a fair amount of variety but you can still brute force with him. Vergil has a decent skill ceiling but I learned how to consistently slaughter every level by the time I finished his story section, he takes like 5-6 hours to learn while Dante pros are still learning him.

@@aliexeradr4346 yes, though dmc vergil 3 is when the devs are still hesitant to put an op extra character. Vergil in that game is nerfed to some degree... by dmc4, the devs started to loosen up. and by dmc5 is when they just straight up let you play as Vergil without any restrictions.
