What I find even funnier is that if these mentally ill people cared as much as they believe they do, they would just put DEI initiatives in non-profits, not massive corporations thats sole purpose is to make profits every quarter. Watched my mom run her own company for 3 decades now and what these "businesses" have been doing recently goes against everything a business should be doing. Its WILD how they are anti business and just not getting it. How most of these folks havnt been fired is beyond me, probably all scared theyll get sued for "discrimination" which shouldnt matter if the employee has a failing track record and not producing sufficient results to justify their employment.

From what I've sort of found from myself growing up, is that it's a bit of indoctrination from school and cultural/familial surroundings, that the authoritative voice already said the point of the narrative that the intelligent class of people agree with and we need to just "learn" and comply with it. Your opinion is fundamentally important if it voices a competent argument that provides perspective, reason or additional insight into any discussion, topic, or event that is taking place. Always important to speak your mind and have honest intelligent discourse on any matter, and any suggestion otherwise is mind killer that is plaguing modern society.

We do not have this kind of connection to racism like America does. We are Slavic countries. If you call us racist for not including a black person in a game made based on our Bohemian history we will not care. I have met many Americans, many British people, many other people from anglophone countries and especially in Americans when it comes to these political discussions the amount of time I have been labeled white to get my opinion disregarded by others is funny to me. Yeah, absolutely. We gamers want only one thing and it is *not* disgusting. 😎 All we want is that corpos and studios keep the standarts they started with. And we notice it when we are confronted with lazy slop for whatever reason. Gamers aren't classless consumers. We are gourmets who grow used to good tastes and expect the flood of good food to keep coming up. That is all we are asking for. If some chefs cannot compete on the market *for whatever reason* that is not our tongues fault and we won't get guilttripped into eating s°°°.

My best guess for this is that casuals are a large part of the audience and they get their gaming recommendations from word of mouth. And who do they get word of mouth from? Their hardcore friends who consume a lot of gaming content and are able to put the pieces together of what's happening in the gaming industry. Therefore if you don't cater to the hardcore your AAA game will not be profitable.
