To be fair: that one poster was right that Concord got turned into a chalk outline before we had any gameplay footage because it became a target of the culture war. What they're conveniently glossing over, forgetting or denying despite overwhelming evidence is the fact that Concord volunteered for the frontlines. Concord wasn't an innocent civilian bystander hit by stray bullets, it was down in the trenches fighting what many of the devs on the team believed to be the good fight, because the people involved wanted to be "on the right side of history". If you're volunteering for the draft, you can't complain if you end up a casualty. You can't throw down the gauntlet, tell people to step up and then cry about getting smacked down later.

I mean I could go on forever, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessiaca Jones who all had highly successful shows with multiple seasons. Don't forget about their beloved Captain Marvel who would probably be treated way better than she ever had been with the MCU (actually strong, hot, and with a personality).

Not really, you don't really need attractive or badass character designs, there are like many games that don't have such a thing. For example the oldest game known as Minecraft has not a single character I would say is attractive or badass, of course I take attractive in your word to be in terms of S appeal and not just a general statement use of it. And if we say in terms of life service games, so many characters in ultimate smash bros don't even fit in that category like really would you say Kirby is attractive? Or Pikachu is a badass? Of course not, I think what matters more than if they fit into those categories is for them to be just appealing to the eye and yeah badass and attractive does fit in that category. What can I say S sells very well, which is why it's used everywhere but let's be honest and not kid ourselves reason why concord didn't sell well isn't cause their characters aren't attractive. It's cause their gameplay loop was utter garbage, it was expensive and cost money in a genre where the game is normally expected to be free and finally nothing in the game is appealing to look at not in terms of attractiveness in S category but in terms of just pleasing to the eye, it has a cluster**** of colours that contrast very unpleasantly and the world is just very bland with nothing really to look out that stands out.

Yeah it would be nice if I could be a toothpick or just an average guy but that's what they decided to put in the game and the character in most games plays such a small role in video games for the most part.
