Great video, been hoping for a dinosaur one! One thing for me personally, I really like your videos where you add images linking to the facts and maybe for a future dinosaur video it would be interesting to see how all these dinosaurs looked. Keep up the great work tho brother!

The fact that the furst recorded evidence of a dinasour bone(teeth) was in China and they thought they were from dragons is absolutely incredible! It brings even more lore to the Yucatan history about how Asian history and Latinoamerica history merges with dinosaurs and structures. I love this type of things ❤

16:30 they also had animatronic puppets for the velociraptors and the triceratops in the first film! . :) The cera was less advanced, since it was only in one seen, and I think the raptors only had leg and facial animatronics- rather than fully robotic bodies like was made for the Rex. It was certainly a revolutionizing feat for how much CGI was used and how good it looks (even mostly holding up today) but at first listen it can sound like they only had a robotic T-Rex which was not the case
@paradoxx04688 ай бұрын
30:33 its also that IRL velociraptors were very small creatures, that mostly scavenged their food or hunted rodent-sized prey (instead of being 'six foot turkeys' ;D )
@paradoxx04688 ай бұрын
31:45 yes, compared to the knowledge we have on dinosaurs modernly, Jurassic Park has plenty of inaccuracies but the film was scientifically revolutionary back in '93. It's the movie's early CGI tests that alluded paleontologists to consider the 'dinosaurs into birds' theory more seriously. (i.e running the T-Rex model through a simulated walk-cycle and going 'hey this really looks like how a chicken walks!')

Love these videos, a small note, i have watched facts videos before where a fact was totally crazy and i had to look it up and it turned out to not be completely true. Would really appreciate if you left refrences in the description for us to collaborate.. thansk!

Yeah I do try and fact check a sample of the facts, but with the 1 hour vids it’s evidently not really plausible for me to check them all haha, so maybe that’s a solution! Thanks Dave

Bonus Fact: The velociraptors in the Jurassic Park trilogies had their size based on the most recent fossil of their year, that being the skeleton of a Utahraptor, explaining their overly exaggerated size.

Remember people, all this is theory. Creation theory had the same amount of weight on this subject.
@MidnightEkaki Жыл бұрын
Scientific theories are ideas backed by a vast amount of evidence and are highly likely to be factual or close to being accurate. Creation 'theory' is based on fictional stories made by people not science. You can believe in whatever religion you want but if you want to talk science then no creation theory has no place in it.
@wyxir4191 Жыл бұрын
creation theory is for ignorant people who cannot handle information properly and rely on "but i heard this so it must be true"

There is very clear fossil record demonstrating the evolution and lifestyles of thousands of species of dinosaur across 200 million years. It’s a concrete fact, not just a theory.
