I liked the florist the best! He listens, he remembers and he took the time to make the big bouquet. Handling flowers isn’t an easy job, they’re very delicate. And the soaps he sent were so pretty! Lmaoo this character kinda reminds me of my grandma! Alas, she did not experience the 1920 because she was born in 1930, however, you could say the 1950s were her prime! My grandma was a social butterfly, and even her dating prospects reflected that. My grandma was seeing TWO other men, a lawyer and a doctor, when she met my grandpa, who was a physical education teacher. She actually became engaged to one of the men, but eventually ended the engagement, cut things off with the other guys and moved in with my grandpa! They were happily married for 61 years. She actually remained on good terms with other men, even occasionally attending basketball games with one when they were both in the 70s. She recently passes away towards the end of 2021, but I’ll always look back fondly at all her stories, and of course, her all-encompassing love for people in general, whether it be for friends, lovers, or strangers.
