I’m Northern Irish and I can’t believe u like our accent 😂 I always thought it was really rough and awful sounding!! You’ve nearly got it spot on too! One tip is when we say Northern Ireland, we say it a bit more like “norn Iron”😂 this was sooooo goooodddd thank u ❤

Im from Belgium and thus not a native speaker but im very interested in different accents. To me her own accent sounds very similar to Northern Irish with just a bit more Scottish sprinkled in. Am I completely wrong or do they sound kinda similar. I would love to know in order to learn more about different accents.

Lauren, your shower video was even more wonderful than I was expecting! That dark ambience, warm lighting reflecting off of you, your soft speaking, and the soft and soothing shower sounds really made for a very relaxing and soothing video! I watched it after work both Monday and Tuesday, which really helped me chill, and I also watched it for bedtime Monday night, and it was just very lovely to listen to. I've missed your accent ASMR, Lauren. This was wonderful. Edinburgh triggered me the most, but they all sounded so good. I'm learning so much about dialects and accents! Oh- and I'm Californian. Born and live just south of LA, very near to Disneyland- and you nailed the local accent. One thing that sets CA apart is we are the only state where the people add "the" in front of our freeway/highway names.... "I took the 5 to the 101 over to Sunset..." LOL

It warms my heart to hear you say you love Colorado, it’s my home born and raised. I recently moved to Edinburgh. But I still miss my Boulder Colorado and will always be a Colorado boy. And good job with the accent, it’s very subtle and most people don’t notice it misses the T’s and a true Coloradan says “coloRADo” Just like how you say it :) so excellent job!!

Guy from Alabama, here; huge fan. -- The trick to a Southern accent (which Hollywood always gets wrong, and only English actors can seem do somwhat correctly) is we shorten our vowels, and draw out our consonants. Which is the opposite of a London accent. -- So, "you all" gets shortened to "y'all", which is said like, "U-Haul" with without the "h".and really long drawn out "L". It's the same reason, "Git 'er Dun" is spelled so incorrectly. -- Also, if there are too many vowels in the word, like, say, "tomato," we'll just abbreviate to: "Ya wanna tomad'a on dat san'wich?" -- Hope that helps.

She’s crazy good at this. My whole family is from Georgia and I told her in my comment that it’s nuts that she’s able to distinguish between a more south eastern accent like Southern ASMR Sounds has (I think she’s from SC) and a more south western accent like Alabama. Lots of Americans can’t do that lol I’m from Texas. So, obviously I loved this too ❤️
