@@hehebeccaI think one of the main reasons for that was to reduce size of the box so that they can ship more units in the same space

@@ocbusfan Um actually is because of an E waste law they passed a few years ago. Apple got into a lot of trouble for the amount of waste they were producing so their solution was give the customers no new chargers etc. So people hold onto their chargers for longer. The issue with that is 1. it comes across really stingy 2. chargers should be replaced often because they can overheat causing fires 3. it was the waste product in general from manufacturing that was the biggest concern not just the accessories waste.
