Personally I like the subtle presence of white noise, it makes it all more natural. Also, you can get real silence only in an anechoic chamber, you know? 😂 anyway, you could ask for a different sound effect in a nicer way next time. Maybe you’ll be listened.✌🏻 Edit: to me, it’s subtle because I don’t listen to ASMR with max volume, so maybe you can start with lowering the volume.

I could not believe when you mentioned those “jolts down your back” sensations-that is the first way I ever experienced ASMR, as a young child, when my daddy would whisper nonsensical stories in my ears!
