I'm a dog person, really, but I lived in an apartment with three cats for a couple years and one of them was my buddy, always sleeping in my room. I remember how relaxing it was hearing him groom himself while I fell asleep... and so I guess I'm a cat person too :)

I had a cranky black cat. Very aloof and didn't like to be pet too much because she was over stimulated easily. I knew she loved me because she would lay right next to me a groom herself which is pretty big sign a cat likes you. She passed recently and I miss her grooming sounds.
