If you know cacioppo de peppe the whole point of dish is being simple. Like that's what its known for. So still a misleading title for those who like I said know caciodepeppe as being one of main dishes in world really that you dont add anything to. This is more of mushroom butter sauce which it shouldve been described as. She definitely was being misleading.

This video was so gorgeous! I was wondering if u have ever tried polenta... (cornmeal, like an Italian porridge)? I met a recipe that I had tried in a wonderful Italian restaurant where you make polenta soft and creamy, and you top it with a sauce consisting of cream, white wine or brandy salt pepper a little hot pepper, roasted garlic (or sauteed minced shallot, my preference), gorgonzola, fresh thyme & wild mushrooms. U want to chop the mushrooms uniformly so everything cooks evenly. OMG it's so fattening, like maybe only eat it once a year if that LOL. But so luscious. I really hope you give it a try! Thanks for enjoying cooking (& eating) as much as I do! 😘
