It's interesting comparing Australian candy with American candy. We rarely have chocolate bars with any fruit flavors, and it seems Australians must love that with the Cherry Ripes, Pineapple lumps, and orange jaffas. I would think the Cherry Ripes would not be very popular here, but I'd love something like this. Chocolate and fruit go so well together!

I love fruity chocolate candies. They are hard to come by in the US for sure, though. One of my favorite cherry candies is the Cherry Mountain bar, which is chocolate, a little bit of peanuts, and a delicious cherry filling! I'm not sure if they are just a PNW thing, but they ate wonderful!

In the UK we have a company called Hotel Chocolat, they have many different natural fruit (delicious!) fillings and are very good quality. I’ve shipped them to the US before so you should be able to get them even if they are a bit pricey haha. Worth a gander at their website anyway.

Some 40-years ago I was a child and my parents took me on a drive from our home in Sydney to my grandparents home in Wollongong one Friday night. On the two hour drive I ate a load of Cheery Ripe's all on my own. I threw up all over my grandparents living room carpet. That is literally the last time I had a Cherry Ripe. They are so good I just can't handle them.
