Wrigleys is very popular here in the United States. Although we don’t have PK and AIRWAVES. But a lot of juicy fruit, extra, and eclipse. Very interesting.

D-LionDK In Ireland, we have Airwaves and like yourself we don't have PK. I think Eclipse might be equivalent to Airwaves. Over here Airwaves is generally advertised as a medical product, in that it claims to help clear your throat or blocked nose, if you have a cold or flu. Gotta say it actually works good. I think us not having Eclipse may be because, there is already another kind of chocolate bar, sold over here with the same name.

My grandad told me a story about chewing gum during ww2 he lived in Alderley edge south Manchester UK and during ww2 American GI's were based in his village the local people and his dad used to make the American soldiers cups of hot tea in the winter and toast. ( The country was on food rations at the time) He was only 7 and used to run up to the soldiers saying in a poor American accent " Hey chum have you got any gum"? He said they almost always replied "sure kid they you go" and gave them Hubba bubba.. they loved it he said it was proper chewing gum not the shit we had over here 😂

Pretty sure chewing gum-like stuff goes back to the romans lol, they used to make a gum equivalent out of tree sap. And supposedly certain tree saps would actually provide pain relief as well
