Jenn Strohl does it really help? I usually take otc sleep aides but those don't really help much anymore. If it wasn't for ASMR my sleep schedule would be horrible. I have seen the melatonin but I don't know anyone whose taken them so I wasn't sure if they were effective.

Cassafrass Lee it certainly can help, I took it for a few years! But in order for it to work properly you really have to do the whole "no phones/screens 30 min before bed" deal. It's not meant to knock you out, it just prepares your brain for sleep, so working on a nightly routine makes it more effective. And if you have any mental health issues (mainly depression) talk to a psychiatrist first, because its possible it could make it worse!

There is an app that I found called ASMR Radio. People can add audio and its all asmr. They even have ads that are whispers. It's nice if you don't have a strong enough connection to watch KZbin vids without the dreaded buffering. It's easy to work and it runs 24/7

I think she fixed the lighting to match the background a little more. That helps with making it look realistic.

It's a green screen. Her home is minimalistic and bright, and this background has a lot more *stuff* in it and the walls are too dark. You can also tell by the fact that the lighting is just a tad off (comes from in front of her but doesn't reflect off of anything behind her- no shadows of her) and when she does quick movements, the video around those movements seems to delay a fraction. (Probably a hiccup with frame speed vs digital replacement of the background) That being said, she's done a fantastic job of getting the lighting to match her background as close as she's got it, and most people are here for the sounds and not the backgrounds anyways. ;p
