Having autism makes it really difficult for me to keep my mind focused on something I'm trying to get done, almost as if my mind is looking for distractions. But (no talking) ASMR videos are genuinely so incredibly helpful. I do a little bit of writing everyday and most the time I feel like I can't form sentences in my head because of all the noise that's already in there. These videos act as suppressors almost, it's just enough stimulus for my overactive brain to latch onto, while the other half of my brain can focus ENTIRELY on writing. I've tried videos with talking while I write and it's almost impossible, the side of my brain I use for writing gets too focused on the words I'm hearing and just shuts down xD

I have a slight ear infection in my right ear and honestly listening to asmr has helped tremendously. Like its getting the spot that's bothering me the most in my ear and it feels so good. Any ear cleaning inspired videos from Sophie, Evoke. Rapunzel are some of my favorites.
