Amazing video! Personally I like it better when you do see the mic, cause for me it adds a visual trigger! I think maybe for roleplaying, having the mic not visible would be better, and then for the “regular” videos you maybe could show the mic just to mix it up for the viewers that do like it?

Lovely video as always. The new mic is amazing, the sound is so clear and tingly! I personally prefer seeing the ears. Seeing what the hands are doing makes it easier for me to imagine what it'd feel like, and it's tingly in same the way that watching other person get a scalp inspection or a back massage. And light triggers work better if you see the light around the ears, in my opinion.

Personally I like it more when you can see the mics. There is a visual part to asmr as well for me. I do get that some find this set up more realistic (since you can't see your own ears irl). But I just like to see what's exactly happening

It’s realistic for the 3Dio not to be visible, but it might not be better. We don’t feel you touching our ears the way you touch the 3Dio, so if we can’t see any of what you’re doing, it’s harder to visualize what you’re doing, which decreases immersion. The extent to which these factors affect people may vary from person to person. The triggers are really nice, though. The audio is quite comfortable and not too bassy.

Another thing you could do that I just thought of is to narrate what you’re doing in a detailed manner, which would help us visualize by your description. It might help for you to use the specific, medical terms for the parts of the earlobe that you’re touching.
