I used to live in a really old house that has been in my family for over a century (predates town records, est to be 250+ yrs old). I’ve watched bolt locks that are hard to open, unlock themselves and the doors open. Especially the basement door, and my dog would often growl at it before it would unlock and open on its own. Heard someone walking in the attic. Faucet turn on by itself. And despite never telling anyone, I’ve had other family members that lived there before and after me tell me they saw the same things happen (it’s a rental property owned by my late grandmother). Only place I’ve ever lived in my 43 years where I never felt alone and always felt someone was watching me.
