My parents are both in their 70s and have a multitude of health issues. When she mentioned the tree house with the bucket on a rope, I was taken back to my childhood for a bit. My parents were both healthy, we still had an active farm, and I had the whole world to explore. I spent many summer nights in my treehouse, overlooking my family's house, with the horse paddock behind it, reading Redwall and The Hobbit. I haven't thought about that old treehouse in a long time. I was worried this would be a little hard to watch because I don’t like roleplays that are out of character, but of course Erin would make a perfect coraline. Coraline is a wonderfully creepy animated movie and an excellent book. Neil Gaiman is an expert at stuff like that and he has many other weird worlds to dive into. This is a lovely interpretation of Coraline. Dropping lots of little nuggets of that world.

Getting to see the Cat all happy and pet made me very happy as well It’s funny because his voice in the movie is so refined and regal, but he is a cat and was fine with being held and pet and stood on Wybie’s back. In the book his voice was so ethereal and mysterious. But he’s just a little guy, hehe! Poised and elegant but still a cat and a silly sweet little thing who loves attention :)
