Hi Jessica The lime scale down the loo, drain all the water out and pour loads of black harpic down leave it on for a round and hour or so and it should be gone. Mine was terrible and I did it and it's never got as bad. Don't use 2ps to scrap it off I made that mistake and scratched the porcelain. I do use lime scale remover tablets at least once a week. The black harpic tabs and liquid are brilliant.

For the bottom of your toilet, if you get a pumice stone to loosen/break up the top layer of limescale first, it'll allow toilet cleaner/gel to do a better job and penetrate right down. You can get a two pack of pumice stones with handles in B&Q for about seven quid.
